*************We love our new awning. It is everything we wanted it to be. The builders were great. ****** was super to work with. He was professional and knew just what to do to make the job perfect. Purchase and Installation of our awning Great **************************************** Big shout out for ***************************, salesman for his honest and straight forward approach and suggestions for what would satisfy our needs. Took trip to their office location and the admin. staff was extremely professional and service orientated ********************************** were on time, cleaned up work site, efficient, did a great job explaining the operations of the awning device. Awesome Company. They provided excellent service from the sales rep ******************* to both installers ****** and ******. Everyone was courteous and professional. The shades that were installed were top quality and everything fit perfectly. Shade was installed incorrectly and the work was left unfinished. The owner and manager refused to come out, inspect and fix the work despite their employees stating that it was not done properly. Avoid this company - they will not stand by their work and you will be left fixing it yourself.Liberty Awnings And Shades Response

Due to our disagreement that the shade was defective in anyway, we made a good faith offer to remove our shade, patch the resulting holes and refund 100% of the customers money which was refused. The customer stated they wanted to keep the shade but wanted a partial or full refund which we did not accept. Liberty has been in the Valley manufacturing and installing the same products for over 20 years, we have a great reputation and we have always stood by our products. In this case we were at a standstill, so we offered a full return and refund. However, we've worked too hard over the years to give our product away or allow it to be devalued.Customer Response

Our shade was installed in May 2022 and we have repeatedly attempted to contact the manager and owner to check the work of their teams and ensure that the install was done correctly and to make the small minor repairs that were captured in the photos. When they have responded, they have refused to revisit their work. They had finally offered to remove the shade for our confidentiality of the situation. After all this time, this was not an acceptable outcome - we were willing to accept a partial refund to cover the cost of what will be future repairs. Consumers beware - they are not willing to stand by their work and are quick to throw their customers under the bus and leave them hanging with faulty work.Review from Spring L.

DO NOTDO NOT DO NOT. get awning from this company. This company is AWFUL.I got my retractable awning from this company and only use it for 2 months and barely use it. The fabric tore and bar is bend. Two technicians from their own company said this is manufacture and installation problem. After they send the pictures back to the company and they said this is not their problem. I spend over $8000 for this piece of s*** If you dont want waste your money DO NOT get any product from here. Any problem happened this company dont care. This company doesn't care about customer service at all!!! Tried all the way to the owner and they sincerely don't care. My purchase was for over $6000 so I am not speaking of a low dollar purchase. Well, that all perspective I guessHad an issue with the install, We (installer and I) look at the contract because he says there's a separate charge for covers and the charge isnt there. Installer asks that I sign off on the install since he did what he was supposed to and not to worry, He said he would let the office know and someone would contact me back immediately.?? No call that day so I contact the office at 5 till 5 and they are unaware of my issue. ***** the office manager says she will talk with the salesman. The next day goes by with no call. Days later after multiple unanswered calls, I receive a Docusign with an un-reasonable charge. I call again and get the manager who says she has spoken with the owner and the charge cannot be removed. I offer to pay full price for the material and pick up the product. Still the $200 installations charge cannot be removed. She offers and sets a meeting for myself and the owner. At this point I need to get the covers that match the product that they installed, so I email for documentation and received a response for resolution that would require me to sign an additional contract stating I would speak well of the company on the air for compensation. This is not how customer service should be handled. I feel for anyone that has an issue as thats when the struggle will begin. They have been adversarial from the first moment. I reviewed them online months ago and today they responded saying that they offered to remove the charge which is not true. I have the emails directly from the ** saying the charges are just and cannot be removed. And another offering to split the $200 fee I felt was unreasonable if I would sign the contract I mentioned above. The customer signed a contract for a retractable awning on August 13th 2021. Although we require the customer that signed the contract to be there at the time of installation to confirm what was order is received and to receive orientation of how the product works and do the initial set up of the pitch of the awning, the limits on the remote and the sensitivity setting on the motion sensor, the original customer was not there and had someone else received the product and go through the orientation on December 16th 2021. We were then contacted by the original customer on July ********* stating that the awning was not retracting in the wind. We use a sign off sheet for orientation at the time of installation that states specifically that The installers have left my awning in the position that is satisfactory and meets my needs. I understand that I will be charged a standard service rate of $150 if I need an extra trip to make motor or sensor adjustments. Regardless of this signed acknowledgment, Liberty opted to schedule a courtesy service, free of charge, to adjust the sensor and give the customer a product orientation, however, again, the original customer was not there at the time of service but the service was performed and signed off on by the same person that was there for the initial installation (please see the signed service order). The sensor has been tested and is working exactly as it should and is not defective. Liberty has offered to come out and adjust the sensor again but the customer will need to pay a $99.00 service fee and we highly recommend he himself be there.Review from Stacey R.

I had a signed contract, paid half down. A month later, Liberty refunded my money without any explanation, and no response when I asked what was going on. Company that came to my rescue said they were getting a lot of Liberty customers - likely getting burned by rising material costs and rather than honor the contracts, just cancelled them. Sound plausible, but just speculation since I was given NO explanation. Did not need the added stress while doing major back yard renovations. Contract was meaningless, and zero customer service. Liberty is absolutely not cancelling contracts due to increased pricing which is one of the reasons we are so far out for installation. Liberty has a long history of always holding up to our end of the bargain and we will continue to do so just as we have done for the last 40 plus years we have been in business. However we do have the right to cancel a contract when we decide the relationship is not a good fit. In this case, the customer wanted us to order the product prior to having a full scale drawing that includes location of vertical supports, mount heights and proper set backs in order to ensure we were adhering to any permitting rules and regulations for that lot. This is out of our process and not how we do business. After many phone conversations, emails and attempted technical measures (costly trips to the home) we decided to remove ourselves from this contract and completely refund the customers money.Customer Response

I had the salesman out. There was ONE and only ONE trip to the home to do the tech measure. The salesman saw the yard was being totally leveled and totally re-done - there were piles of debris. The landscapers had spray painted the outline of where the shade structure was to go which had several feet of clearance from any existing structure and was well within the city setback rules for common walls. Liberty wanted to come back out to do the measure once the area was cleared and dry stacked. I called in as soon as it was dry stacked. Liberty sent someone out ONCE to do the measure. The person told the landscapers they couldn't do the measure. Then Liberty cancelled the contract without explanation. No call, just an email with a refund notification. There were no wasted trips to attempt a tech measure as Liberty seems to be implying.
