I made reservations through AIRBNB for a vacation stay with Bryants real estate for a vacation stay at their location bobs place on march 24,2023 with a deposit amount of $1346.27. On April 11, 2023 my reservations were canceled through Airbnb due to the 2nd payment failing. No notification via phone call or text were made by company only email. On April 13 I noticed the cancellation and immediately called Airbnb. At this time they contacted Bryant real estate who informed me I could rebook the same place same date with no extra cost. I immediately went in to rebook and the place was freaked out. I contacted Airbnb several times and finally was told that this home was rented out to another renter the same day we were told we could rebook. I called Bryant real estate myself and left a detailed message with no call back. My husband then called and spoke with a woman in the office who informed ** that we would not get our refund even through we were promised this vacation spot the same day it was rented. They offered ** a different location and different dates however it was not Suitable due to myself being pregnant and close to due date around those times. He then informed them he would rather seek legal advice before proceeding because we thought we were being scammed. After this the company said they would not talk with ** about the matter anymore. I called and spoke with a male in office who informed me he could not talk to me or provide any assistance to this matter anymore due to ** seeking legal help. We spoke with a lawyer in our state who reported we have documentation that support our rights to rebook and also get a full refund with rebooking as well as documentation stating we paid in full and also had 30 days prior to arrival to pay the 2nd due amount. This compliant is not valid. We contacted the complaint this morning and she confirmed that she has the incorrect company
