We purchased a Viking Cruise thru HomeTowne (March 2022) for $11194.00. We were directed to buy travel insurance thru *** for $1036.30, instead of using Viking Cruise coverage. We had to cancel this cruise due to medical condition 9/12/22. We filed our claim with *** 9/12/22. We were informed by *** only $10,000. was covered, and only 8 out of the 10 days of the cruise. ******* (travel agent) neglected to provide coverage for 2 of the cruise days, as well as not covering the total cost of the trip ($11194.00). *** has been a difficult insurance agency to deal with. It has been a 101 days since this claim was filed, and over 26 documents sent. We tried to contact ******* on several occasions, only to be ignored. We needed her assistance to process this claim.We would like Hometowne to refund the difference of *** ($10,000), and the total cost of the cruise. HomeTowne owes us $1194.00 (we have all the documents regarding this claim)
