I needed a control panel replaced on my furnace. ****** gave me a price of $850. I gave him the 'okay', but in speaking to a friend of mine after that, found that I had possibly been grossly overcharged. I called ****** on 7/23 and asked about it. He said he was that expensive b/c he is licensed, bonded, insured, etcetera. He suggested I contact other a/c people to compare prices and I did exactly that. I contacted *********** AC, Northman HVAC and ******* Mechanical, all of which are licensed, bonded and insured. I was given prices of $350, $350 and $550 (although not necessarily in that order). I telephoned ****** a second time on 8/9 and reported my findings to him. When I asked for a credit back, he said "no".Business response

In the incident specifically mentioned by the customer, we spoke to one of those companies who we have a great working relationship with, the customer was not asking for the correct comparison of work. Specifically she was asking for installation of a board that she had purchased. The board alone cost nearly as much as the low end amounts she is stating.
We pride ourselves on being open, honest, and fair with our pricing. We spoke to this customer several times to try and remedy the situation and she was not satisfied without receiving a full refund after the work was approved before completion and once approved fully completed.
