On Tuesday 06/25/2024 I dropped my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro off at *** Moses to be ceramic coated. I spoke with ****** ******* at the time of drop off and throughout the ceramic coating process. On Monday 07/01/2024 I went to *** Moses to pickup my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro and at the time of inspection I noticed damage to the driver side cowl ( approximately 1 Diameter of paint removed ) and driver side rear quarter panel ( approximately 2 long x 1/8 wide of paint removed ) that was not present at the time the vehicle was dropped off. I sent damage photos to ****** ******* by text message and spoke with ****** ******* on Monday 07/01/2024 regarding the damage. ****** advised the damage was present at the time of drop off on Tuesday 06/25/2024 and that his workers did not damage the Camaro. I advised ****** the damage was not present and sent him a photo depicting the damage was not present on the Camaro. ****** once again advised the damage was present on the Camaro at the time of drop off and sent me the same photos with clouds in the background that were sent to him by either myself or his workers on Monday 07/01/2024. After informing ****** I have photos and a Video illustrating the damage was not present on the Camaro. ****** advised the damage must have happened in the parking lot and still denied causing the damage.

The Vehicle in question, did arrive On June 25th, it was inspected and noted several paint flaws around vehicle
front hood, front left cowl rear left qtr panel rear trunk area
rear taillight section, rear under bumper panel,  right side door qtr area
paint condition was mediocre at best, we did inform customer about thin or little to no clear ********************** in several areas, he informed us didnt matter he was sending to auction in ******* the following week and just needed done best we could do.
We performed paint correction on all panels that did not have thinning clearcoat, some areas did have touch up paint applied previously which we tried to not touch.
We cleaned and decontaminated surfaces and then began Ceramic coating process, vehicle was completed and then examined and left to sit and ceramic coating cure till July 1st, I ****** {the owner} was out of town on business, so was not able to be there when customer picked up, he arrived and immediately started picking car apart and trying to say the flaws that were noted at dropoff were caused by us and not previously there.
I did have a couple conversations with ***** about such items and tried to explain what was on his car and that the paint is not of good quality and very below standard like i had previously explained at dropoff and on the phone June 26th and 27th.
He disagreed and told me dont worry h*** handle me.

Ive restored Chevrolet and Gm vehicles for 25 years with my other company, I know paint body and cars that were restored improperly
I did offer to customer that if he had car paint repaired i would Re-ceramic coat free
I can be contacted at anytime ************

Although there were some areas of the paint that had thin clear coat or not the best paint job those areas were in the rear of the vehicle. The entire front of the vehicle to include both doors, fenders, hood, and cowl were repainted in May 2024. The spot in the attached photos was not present at the time of drop off, as that area was painted prior to the Ceramic Coating. When I spoke with the owner he denied that his employees caused the damage to the paint and that it must of happened in the parking lot. The damage that his employees caused to the Cowl cost me $300 to have the piece repainted.
