I have been an Achieve customer for over a year, and have had a good experience, until today. I am an active duty servicemember and am currently stationed overseas. I called to consolidate some additional credit card debt and was told that because I am stationed overseas, Achieve is unable to extend any offer to me, even though I live on a US military base and have a US address. This policy is completely at odds with the purpose of the Servicemember's Civil Relief Act. Is it really Achieve's intent to exclude nearly ******* American servicemembers based solely on their willingness to serve our country's interests overseas? I'm extremely disappointed.Achieve Response

Great experience getting a ***** ! It was a semi long process but it was very easy to complete . The communication was excellent from texts,emails, and phone calls . Everything can be submitted online through there portal . You get updates message during every step . Instructions about how the creditor would be paid off was clear and easy to follow . I had the best experience with Achieve and im very satisfied with all the work they put into my request !Achieve Response

Another lending company that uses predatory practices, cares only about their bottom line and trains employees to harass customers when they need their money, but when they need to pay the customer back after an account has been closed, oh no that's gonna take time. My husband and I had a HELOC and paid it off with redoing our first mtg. We received letter after letter saying it was a letter to collect a debt with a credit balance..lol Letters stating it was pd off, then finally letter(s) stating they received a request to close account even though that was requested at time of closing. We have waited several weeks and called to check on the status of the return on funds so we could use it to pay on the mtg payment, we were told several times it is in process. We stated, yes we know this, when will they money be release so we can use it to pay our mtg. Achieve was over paid. Well it takes time, yes and you've had 2 months. Even told the lady we know it isn't your personal fault, it is Achieve, but when they want their money they don't stop calling 5 times a day. Her statement was "When has life ever been fair?" I stated, well that was harsh. Is there anything else you need? Only our money. Pardon me, but *** is that? If I could, I would sue the s*** out of companies like this and I don't do stuff like that, but I am so tired of companies like these taking advantage of consumers who are already being taken advantage of by life, our government, medical system, etc. You work your a** off, can't get assistance because you make too much (in gross pay) not bring home because of the cost of healthcare, then meds, mtg or rent, utilities, groceries and gas to actually go to work and this is how you are treated. SHAME ON YOU AND ALL LIKE YOU!! And people wonder why Americans are so ****** illegals come here and get free housing, healthcare, groceries and cash? This right here is why. Work hard and get drug through the mud all the way around!!Achieve Response

Despite a 'stellar' credit profile (e.g., perfect payment history over nearly 20 years), the only option for me was the settlement option that requires you to not make payments to creditors (e.g., 'miss' payments), thereby placing you in default. How is this ethical? I've had loans before for these kind of high interest accounts with similar conditions (e.g., income, D2I, etc., etc.) - the excuse given this time was 'Covid' and everything that went with it. I'm in my situation because 1) I had a couple of disasters after Covid and 2) a lot of people defaulted on their accounts with my creditors during that time and I am somehow expected to make up the difference; it emerges further that these creditors increased their interest rates during the Covid emergency (3 times in 1.5 years in one case). I don't know how a company like Achieve can, with profits being beyond their wildest dreams, not help me or people in my situation. Their rules, like the rest of the 'industry' are bunk, and that's putting it mildly. The program is an absolute sham (just like this nonsense about caps on late fees from our intrepid administration at *************).Achieve Response

1 star because I wasn't able to submit 0 stars. After 1 inquiry by me the phone harassment hasnt stopped for 5 straight days. Multiple calls per day. I block their numbers and they continue on with different numbers. So unprofessional and I would lodge a formal complaint if I couldAchieve Response

I tried to get a loan from them and they kept insisting I give them my username and password from my bank. No loan company will ever ask for that information.Achieve Response
