7/13/2024 Representatives: ******* and *****.I went in to ask about a used car that was available for sale. I was told that I could purchase the car for $24,999, which is a little over $400 less than what was listed on the website. As soon as the deal was about to close. ******* called ***** and told him that they could not do the deal even though they had already signed the paper saying that this was the price that they were going to sell me the car at. I continuously got the runaround from different people and no one was giving me a straightforward answer. In the end I was told that they would need to ask corporate if they can sell the car at the price that they offered and that I would hear back on Monday. On Monday I called and was told that they couldn't offer me the price that they initially offered me. The information that I got from everyone was very misleading and I had a frustrating experience at this dealership. I was at their dealership for hours receiving different information from different representatives. I purchased a Brand New Toyota Truck from autonation Toyota Tempe just after 10 days I started to notice body part gaps appearing and causing damage I returned the truck to the dealer who kept the vehicle over night and had there body shop inspect the truck . When I came in the following day to collect the truck they said it was a manufacturing quality issue and there were no parts available to fix the issue as they were on back order so they said they would order them this was in February 2024 it is now July 2024 and I find out from Toyota head office USA that no parts had been ordered under the vehicles warranty . I have to say I feel very deceived and that the customer level of service is zero . I have attached pictures of the body measurements showing how much the body is out of alignment. I am now not able to use the vehicle as I feel that this is a big safety issue and the vehicle is not fit for the purpose I purchased it for towing a trailer .Business response

New car purchase May 10, 2024 1. I did not receive copy of the retail sales agreement until 10 days later 2. I noticed a charge for $599 that the sales manager is unable to justify. I did not agree on the addtional charge of $599 until I receive the paperwork on May 22, 2024. In addition to greed the dealer broke consumer buying protocol.and ******************* refuses to refund my money or provide some sort of compensation.Business response

Purchased a used car in September 2022. I paid almost $3852 for their Vehicle Protection Plan. When I tried to use the plan I was told that one doesn't exist for my car. Now no one will return my calls or emails. I thought this was a great dealership,...turns out I was wrong. Buyer beware.Business response

Bought a new 2024 Toyota Camary on 11/25/23, the *** coverage paperwork wasn't turned submitted until 12/30/23. Vehicle was involved in an auto accident on 11/27/23 and *** administrator said vehicle was not covered due to date when contract was submitted. Need to contact finance person who did paperwork (******* "****" ******) ******** financial services manager ***********************************. I left voice mails, text and emails with no response. I need this correction to be fixed and resubmitted to the *** department because I have the documentation showing I had *** insurance purchased on 11/25/23 and not on 12/30/23.Business response

Hello.
It is Friday, February 2, ****, and I still have not received my plates. I don't believe Toyota's latest message; it is like the many former ones that did nothing. I am used to excuses such as "the person you need is not at his desk;" " the person you need is out of town," "I am very sorry and will get right on this," "the plates are in the mail."
I also wonder what my not owning the car for three months has to do with the warranty; I extremely upset and have been for a long while. The car is being driven with an expired temporary plate as Tempe Toyota did not send us a new one.
I am disgusted with this dealership and wonder what they gained from having my car on their books for three extra months.

Follow up on Complaint # ******** This complaint is NOT resolved. I do not check my emails daily and somtimes not even *******. SO DO NOT close this complaint. I was told come pick up a check when I arrived I was told **** was in a meeting. He came out said he had no idea about a check. I told him I was told to see him for the check (10-17/23) He then told me the check was expired. I am so over them THEY OWE ME THIS MONEY and refuse to give it back. autonation toyota tempe failed to pay-off trade-in vehicle.purchased a vehicle from autonation on 5-26-23 and it took them over 60 days (august 3, 2023) to pay-off the vehicle i traded in.this irresponsible behavior caused my credit score to be damaged due to late payment from autonation tempe. i have attempted to contact the dealership with no results.Business response

Brought my truck in due to it chugging out after filing gas. They said it was in need of fuel injector cleaning. I spent $3K on the repair as well as getting the bearings replaced. Sadly a week later I had to bring the truck back because it as leaking fluid all over my driveway. Sadly, the problem still continued with the chugging as well but I didn't realize this because I hadn't filled gas within that week. I brought the truck back in again and was told it was another part/another issue and not the fuel injector and it needed to be ordered. I was expecting an oil change at this time which is what I completed online, oil change and to have my vehicle relooked at again. Oil change was completed and left waiting on a part. A month later and no call so I called. Apparently the part just came in. I scheduled an appointment for today. The 30 minute repair took over four hours. It was explained to me the wrong part was ordered and a courier had to get the replacement part. I've had my truck for a few hours and it continues to have issues. I'm assuming it's all related and they are throwing parts after parts. I've dedicated a tremendous amount of time waiting let alone spending the $3K and yet I do not have a vehicle that's running as it should. The issue I have is now an altogether a new issue. I can't help but wonder if they intentionally did something in retaliation, or replaced an incorrect part or did the repair incorrectly. Id never expect this experience from a major dealership. I had a hard credit inquiry ran from the Tempe Toyota Autonation dealership on my credit on June 26, 2023. I had no idea when I was simply inquiring about availability and what it would take to hold a grand highlander that it would result in hitting my credit, especially when I was not financing and the vehicle was not yet in stock. I was told certain info was required just to look into it so I provided but no idea my credit was going to be ran. I. Addition they did not want to give me hard copies of anything stating they did not do that anymore and everything was electronic. I never received anything. Id like for all 3 credit agencies to be notified that this was in error. I reached out twice to the General Manager (***************************) with no response.Business response
