This business has been deducting money from my account for repairs they are no longer doing. I have called the bank, the office and corporate office and no one will speak to me nor take my calls. They give false information on the internet and on their voice recordings.

      To whom it may concern,

We received several calls from Tenna Payne the morning of October 8th, 2024. We were busy at an installation and it took us a few hours to get back to her. We are very short handed currently and we apologized for the delay. She requested to have her DISH protection plan cancelled. We completed that request and refunded her last months $6 payment as a show of good faith. Please see attached refund transaction receipt. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

Why does this company, that is supposed to fix Dish equipment, sending customers to the actual Dish number to fix the problems. When you call their number it directs you to DISH.  Dish has no idea who Channel Choice is.  I spoke with three different people from DISH and one was a supervisor.

Why does the web page and phone message still give an old address.  Why has this not been corrected.

Why does the Corporate Office give you a technical error and not accept an answer nor recording.

If this was a service contract that I have been paying for over 10 years not provide a service and direct you to DISH.

There is something fishy going on with this business and I do not believe Dish nor Direct servers contract with them any longer and these companies provide their own service plan and personnel to fix problems.

      To whom it may concern,

We are only an "authorized dealer" for DISH that sells new service to customers and therefore only works on service work orders we receive from them directly. All equipment warranty and service calls run through them and funnel to us. DISH's business model has changed over the past few years due to loss of a massive portion of customers due to customer migration to streaming services. We believe this is why DIRECTV is buying DISH to make one larger company to survive against certain bankruptcy. We are currently in the process of updating our website and phone system once we know the results of the pending merger.

Please see attached doc and inks below that show us as a dealer on DISH's dealer locator tool and also the link that talks about the pending merger mentioned above.

We really appreciate your understanding regarding the dire nature of the satellite TV services. We have lost 90% of our employees over the last 3 years and are doing everything we can to stay afloat for the pending outcome of the possible merger. Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

I have attempted to contact this company multiple times in the last few weeks recurring a $6 mos charge. There have been phone calls and emails with no response. Their doors are locked and the notice says they are working remotely. I have disputed this monthly charge with my credit card company, because it is a recurring charge I will need to call my credit card company every month till the company finally stops charging. I do not have an account number associated to reference. I would like all future charges to stop and the prior one credited to my credit card (the disputed charge)

In June of 2022 my sister called to advise that my mother (****** *******, at the same address) passed in March and that we had disconnected our Dish Service, asking them to terminate our service and the associated $6.00 per month charge. I still live in the home but am disabled and can’t afford satellite service. My sister has placed multiple calls (at least four) to Channel Choice over the past two months asking someone to return her call about this but nobody ever returns the call. The voicemail says they provide “legendary service”. Ha! Anyway, as I survive on disability income, I am seeking reimbursement of the $6.00 charge they continue to draw every month. July, 2022 through April, 2023 would mean I’m looking for $60 total. Our last message to Channel Choice did state that we would be filing a complaint with the BBB and we still received no call. I have no documents to support the messages that we left. My sister spoke to a Terry when she called to discontinue service in June of 2022, as she made note of it on the list of calls that she was helping me place.

Our sincere apologies for the miscommunication regarding you monthly protection plan. We will happily issue the $60 refund as requested. Please contact our accounting department @ ************ and they can work out how you want the refund issued.

      Sincerely,

      Channel Choice
