After spending over $4,000 in credits for the first 2-3 weeks, we decided to purchase more credits and reloaded for another $4,120. Then that's when the problems started. After a week of texting, our messages started becoming undeliverable. In addition, my account was clearly hacked and Trumpia refused to acknowledge the security breach and wanted to place the blame on me.Long story short, I decided to cancel (with half of my credits remaining). My sales rep even confirmed that cancellation and refund request was already placed, and that he was waiting for his billing director to come back from vacation. All of this is documented from 6/13/24. My recurring billing date was on the 21st, and cancellation was done on the 13th. Guess what? Not only did I not receive a refund (should've been appx $2k), they charged me another $4,120 again on the 21st. If you are interested in mass texting, I would advise you to stay away from this company. I will be pursuing litigation for breach of data and unauthorized credit card charges. They could've simply reversed the $4k charge and denied the refund, but now they will have to answer to the courts.

I contracted with Trumpia to provide a text to vote system for my flag competition. I was adamant with the staff member who called me from the east coast and then the staff member I was handed over to on the west coast that I only wanted this service from 11/11 to 12/4. In fact, I even had to file an advertisement image with phone carriers showing 12/4 as the end date. I signed the contract on 11/8 despite the fact that the text to vote was not ready yet. In fact, the money wasn't taken out of my account until 11/10 that month.Despite these verbal notifications, I was surprised to get a bill on 12/8 for another month. Immediately after receiving the bill I notified the west coast staff member to disconnect immediately. He then turned me over to their IT **** who then turned me over to a billing ****. In the email, the billing **** stated clearly that my service was disconnected on 12/8. However, they chose to still bill me for 12/8- 1/8 despite the service being turned off. They claimed they already took out the money, which they shouldn't have anyways, but it wasn't withdrawn until 12/9.The other excuse the billing **** gave me was that I signed a contract and that it was month to month yet they highlighted the contract part where it admits that no contract exists after the first month and the billing is month to month for which they clearly admitted that I was disconnected on 12/8. They are fraudulently billing me for a month I never asked for and then canceled in writing before it even began.

Our company used Trumpia for years. It came to our attention via a class action lawsuit filed in the ****************, that Trumpia very likely had no mechanisms in place, or at least none that they were using on our account, to prevent numbers from being recycled. Our lawyers reached out to them on numerous occasions to investigate whether the number that was the subject of the lawsuit was indeed a recycled number, what the procedures were for Trumpia to avoid the use of recycled numbers was, whether those procedures were used for our company. They stonewalled ** for so long that we were obligated to settle the lawsuit, since we were left with no ability to defend ourselves against the accusations being made.
