Choose Solarponics...You won't be disappointed! We had one home battery (Powerwall 2) and had an opportunity to add a second battery at a partially reduced cost due to a PG&E rebate and Federal incentives. Due to the rebate, we had a somewhat tight timeframe and needed to work with a company that knew what they were doing and would stay on top of everything throughout the whole process. I reached out to two companies and it quickly became apparent that Solarponics was the place I needed to work with. They got the process started right away, they answered every question I had quickly (and patiently if I needed a little clarification on anything), and they did everything they said they would, *when* they said they would do it. There were no delays and no excuses. On the couple of things that are outside of their control (city inspection and PG&E "permission to opperate") they gave me clear expectations and communicated with me quickly when they received confirmation or when anything changed. My main point of contact was Dominick (amazing!), but everyone I interacted with throughout the whole process was terrific. Troy answered some questions up front and took care of the plan set. Installers (Fabian & Adrian for the main install, Jeremy for a small follow up) were polite and professional, making sure we were in agreement on the plan *before* starting, and answering questions as needed. Caleb provided great support with understanding some nuances of the Tesla app and gave me some insightful recommendations on how to get the most out of our battery backup system. And shout out to the office staff who helped along the way (Annie, McKenzie) who got me documents and answers fast. I know there were a few other people who helped along the way... everyone was professional, polite, and just plain helpful. The project was done ahead of schedule (even with my tight timeframe) and met or exceeded my expectations in nearly every way.Review from Sam S

Solarponics is top-notch! They are a long-standing regional firm. In today's growing solar industry, they are relatively small, but mighty. About 10 years ago, Solarponics was the only company that was happily willing to design and build our residential solar array to our special requirements - with impact resistant glass, made in USA solar panels, and installed with microinverter technology. Since then, our electric bill has always shown a credit – we produce more power than we use, and PG&E owes us the difference at every annual true-up. Then, about two years ago, Solarponics added Tesla Powerwall batteries to our system. Other than production delays from the pandemic, it was a flawless process once more. There one hiccup with the Powerwall's about a year after they were installed, which we didn't notice at first because system power transfers are so seamless. Apparently, a Gateway setting was inadvertently changed during a software update pushed out by Tesla. Solarponics' production team was very responsive and was at our home the next day to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. Just yesterday, Solarponics was back a third time to install a new electric vehicle charger. The work was done at no cost to us through the Qmerit program, which Solarponics recommended. In fact, at every step for the last decade, Solarponics made sure we were able to take advantage of every perk and credit available - and usually did the application paperwork for us! Between these incentives, and savings in electricity and fuel over the last 10 years, I don't know that converting to solar power cost us anything in the long run! Finally, a shout out to the Solarponics staff and technicians who, in both large or small ways, worked to support our solar home as it came together over the years, including: Aadi, Adolfo, Annie, Caleb, Carry, Nick, Jacob, Jane, Jennifer, Jeremy, Kim, McKenzie, Patrizia, Serafin, Todd, and Troy - phew! Like I said: Solarponics is Top-Notch!Review from John L

We weighed several companies before we selected Solarponics and boy, we made the right decision. Though we needed to kinda wait in line for Installation, once they arrived it was like a well oiled machine...They were on time, on budget and on it when it came to the Warranty! About a year and a half after installation we had a problem with the inverter, we didn't even know, Solarponics was motioning our system and they called us to schedule the repair, we only lost about 4 days...That's some amazing service! Thank You Solarponics!!!Review from Lena E

In mid Jan 2023... just 3 months before PG&E's NEM 2.0 grandfathered deadline... Solarponics was just 1 of 2 vendors willing to provide a feasibility study for our faculty condo development showing equitable allocation of solar roof space on 3 different building designs with 3-4 units each. This willingness to do so is even more impressive knowing that they would have to contend with 3 entities - Cal Poly Corporation that owns the ground sublease, HOA and external community property manager The Management Trust that didn't have an approval policy/process in place. Other vendors preferred working with homeowners that didn't have these constraints. Solarponics' Todd Burnett provided these studies on the preliminary visits with homeowners. He was also the ONLY sales person that called out the concern re: that “our roofs look tired.” That prompted us to check with our HOA and a roof inspector to find out the remaining useful life of the roofs. We appreciated the honesty up front so we can make an informed decision. Kudos to Todd and the Solarponics team for their EXTRAORDINARY patience with the HOA, The Management Trust and Cal Poly Corporation... which pushed installation timelines by 4-5 months beyond other homeowners. The installation of all 4 condos’ solar panels and inverters were completed over 2 days. The installation and the inspection went really smoothly. I highly recommend Todd and Solarponics team (J***, J*, S** & install crew)!Solarponics Response

Solarponics recently installed an electric vehicle charger when the local electric utility offered a fantastic rebate. The work was done very professionally by courteous highly trained technicians. Furthermore, Solarponics management from the top kept me fully informed and assisted in the rebate application. Solarponics came highly recommended by several neighbors for solar panel installations, which they will install at our home in the near future.Review from Cheri S

We recently had a vehicle charger installed at our home by Solarponics and are very satisfied with the service. We chose Solarponics for this job because they previously installed our solar panel system, and we were happy with the work they did on that. They took care of everything- design, permits, installation, etc- so we didn’t have to figure it all out ourselves. We were met with friendly, professional service throughout the whole process. Thank you!Solarponics Response

I’ve had my system for almost 3 years the installation went smooth at first. Im am now on my third inverter one failed for unknown reasons the second failed because when they replaced it they forgot to remove packing from behind it and it overheated during the initial install. I requested that the circuit panel that they would install be the same size as my existing panel they assured me this would happen when it was installed. They put in one that had 30 less blanks. I have a 20 circuit panel now when I used to have a 50 and they filled it up entirely when I added a pool. This was told to them that I was going to do. I was unable to put it onto the solar or the battery back up system they installed. Now I’m having to have an electrician come redo all the work that should’ve been done in the first place that I already paid for when using this company please make sure they do what they say they will we have canceled all service contracts with them as we’ve had numerous issues with follow through on replacing and upkeep of parts and service contracts. I would recommend doing your research before you decide on a company just because they’ve been around for a very long time doesn’t mean they’re still the best. There is a newer company (Slo craft) seems to be at least honest and knowledgeableReview from Kathy W
