They price by the job and the amount of time they think they will need. We paid over $700 for 1 hour and 10 minutes (from start to finish) total time at the apartment to unclog a toilet. Yes he had to unbolt the toilet and snake, but really, that was worth $700? ( the bill started at $1100 and we got a $400 credit). I would NOT use this company for this unfair pricing scheme.

Our policy, which is consistent with industry standard is to do flat rate pricing so customers can decide and approve before proceeding. We find that this is better for customers so they're not subsequently surprised by the bill after the work is done. Please give us a call if you feel that we didn't properly explain the cost/scope of the job before you approved it.

Initial in person meeting with a company representative occurred today with purpose of gathering information and generating a quotation. Jason was on time and completed taking measurements and pictures. All was great except for his accidental removal of our doorbell cam that set off an alarm. We were not expecting but understand that the $79 few for today will be subtracted for any future work.

10/6/2024 - Ongoing Toilet Leak Issue Unresolved Since February Dear Albert Nahman Plumbing,I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme frustration regarding the ongoing toilet leak issue that has yet to be resolved, despite numerous attempts to rectify it.The problem began in February 2024, when my toilet started leaking and refilling its tank every 2 to 4 hours. Since March 18, 2024, I have had five appointments with your team to address this issue. I have paid a total of $545 for a new canister flush valve and a new toilet fill valve, yet the toilet continues to leak exactly the same way it did before.What is particularly disheartening is the lack of communication since August. I have repeatedly tried to reach out via email and phone, but my messages have gone unanswered (August to October). I chose your company based on your good ratings and the assumption that I would receive quality service from a licensed plumber. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite the opposite.I would appreciate a prompt response to this matter and a clear plan for how we can finally resolve the leak. The technician lied that he found and fixed the problem. This fix worked not even 10 minutes.He was called back and found a different problem for the same issue.The tech was very rude. They wanted to charge me more labor in additional money they had already charged.Not an honest business. Do not deal with them.

The Nahman tech diagnosed and fixed the problem with our toilet. He was fast, efficient and friendly. The price was fair. Weve always been satisfied with the companys work.

Don't hire Albert Nahman! We're 3 months into a heat pump install and it's been a disaster. The Lennox heat pump makes a terrible electrical buzzing sound that you can hear from the upstairs windows and from most corners of the backyard. They techs didn't adjust the settings on the thermostat for the size of our home and the ducting. They sent someone out to "fix" it a month or so later, but he didn't know what he was doing and spent most of the time on the phone with ****** dealer support. The buzz remains, and sounds dangerous. Our theory is they sold and charged us for a 2-zone system, but installed something else. I've been calling every week for 3 months asking them to address the problems. I've emailed, called and spoken to multiple managers. Now the receptionist politely takes a message but no one calls back anymore. Hopefully the system will fail inspection and maybe then they'll fix it...? So frustrating... Don't hire them and save yourself the trouble.

Do not hire Albert Nahman for sewer lateral replacement. We did and regret it deeply. It took them more than two months--November 2023 to end of January **************** excess of $25K. They broke our waterline, our toilets, and our irrigation system. They left the public sidewalk in a shoddy state. To repair part of our irrigation system they have just quoted us another $2800. Albert Nahman, who started and sold the company, is a good guy. Whoever is running the company now is not.

Please be aware the prices Albert Nahman Plumbing company charges are outrageously high. $500 to clean a shower drain (all of 15 minutes). We questioned the repairman and he said that is what plumbers are charging now for that service. We needed the drain cleared right away and we were in a tough spot so we agreed. We contacted the company to possibly negotiate a fair credit for the job but they were very uncooperative. We hired this company once before and the price was fair for the job; we will not use Nahman Plumbing again. When we agreed to the $500 charge we asked if there was a veterans or senior discount and ******* said yes; but instead of discounting the $500 he increased the price to $531.00 and then applied a veterans discount bringing the total to $505.00. After discussing this with the company they agreed to applying the discount to the $500 balance. This has been a very upsetting experience.
