Where do you even start...I bought a bag for my mom's birthday and she was living in a different country so after 5 months I actually had a chance to give it to her. She was super excited about the bag and immediately took it outside with her. We went to eat and came back and she had the bag on her lap and when she got out of the car we realized the bottom of the print got transferred to her pants. We went to touch the bottom of the bag where the print got transferred and it was sticky. We took the bag back to the store and the employee took it to get it tested and they came back saying they can't identify what caused this issue so they had to send it to New York headquarters so that they can further test it and determine what caused the color transfer. They said they will expedite and will take 2 weeks for us to hear back from them. We were waiting.....3 weeks passed ** and we didn't hear back from them so we started calling the store multiple times (for a few days!) but no one answered the phone so we had to drive all the way to the store. When we asked for the status..they just said, this was an unusual case and couldn't figure out what was the cause. The only thing we heard from them was 'IT'S OUT OF OUR CONTROL. NEW YORK OFFICE IS TALKING TO THE OFFICE IN PARIS TO FIGURE OUT WHAT CAUSED THE COLOR TRANSFER.' They also added they are not sure when they will hear back from NY/Paris headquarters so basically we just have to wait without knowing when we will hear back from them. If they have been testing over 3+ weeks to figure out what caused the color transfer and still couldn't figure it out, are they planning to test weeks or even months to figure out? At this point, I am not sure what they are trying to achieve here - don't want to admit that perhaps that particular bag is defective and exchange it for a new one? They should have set expectations which they failed to do multiple times and I am very disappointed. I will never purchase another bag from this brand.
