I would like to clarify that this message is not intended as a complaint against Hygiena, as I believe your team will respond to my concerns in good faith and work towards resolving the issue.. I intended to purchase the foodproof® StarPrep Two Kit for a project enhancing Omani garlic cultivation. Our lab technician specifically requested this kit for PCR sample preparations based on previous positive experience. On 18th September, I emailed Hygiena, and Raphael provided a quote: 281.73€ for the kit and 200€ for shipping to Oman. I agreed and requested payment details to proceed (see attached photo 1). However, later that day, I received another email from a different representative, **** Michel, advising me to purchase the kit through one of Hygiena’s distributors. I contacted the recommended distributors, but was referred to another distributor, who then declined due to alleged “MOH restrictions.” This reasoning is puzzling, as we have secured all necessary permits and licenses from both the Ministry of Health and the Environmental Authority to clear this kit through customs (see attached photo 2). I reached out to **** again, explaining that the distributors were refusing to supply the kit, and requested that Hygiena proceed with sending the kit directly, as Raphael initially intended. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with ****’s responses. He initially suggested I continue searching for other distributors, which I understood, as he likely wanted to save us time and money. However, I explained that since no distributor was willing to supply the kit, it would be more efficient to proceed directly with the original offer. **** then inquired about the reason for purchasing the kit, but has since stopped responding altogether. I am truly disappointed by this outcome and hope that Hygiena can assist in resolving this matter swiftly. Thank you for your attention and understanding. Best regards, Hamood
