On 9/20/22 My husband and I went on line looking for a intake manifold for our vehicle. We decided to get on with Sierraauto supplies we spoke with ****** there. We purched it with him paid by credit card. Toll him We need a new or refurbished one because we just had our motor rebuild spending over $3100 dollars and was toll that they would not honor the warranty on the motor it the manifold was used because it would mess up the motor .****** said he had one his last one. That fit our vehicle. We received it in a few days open it up and know right away it was used not new or refurbished it was dirty. We called him quickly. And he said it was good .he then sent us a picture of it. IT was not the same manifold. We asked him for a return label to send it back. He said he need to speak to the department that would e mail it to us. So I gave him my email address. Afew day went by with ne call. So we called him he started giving us the run around toll us he would call us back. Two days later no call. We called for 3 days all calls went to voice mail. I then got in contact with name on the box that shipped it to us it was shipped from Abundance Auto at *************** RoundLake Ill. A salvage junk yard i called and spoke to a guy there he said that the part was purched from them for $127. And that they are ripping me off. So i called again then he answered. Said he would give us a store credit only I said we don't want that his company police stated that refund would be given if returned with in 30 days. I then asked to speak to his manager he said he is the manager. So we asked for the owner he said no. Then he put someone on the phone name **************** ask if he is the manager he said no he was one of the mechanics there. We spoke with ***** there he won't give use the owner number. We purches a new one from the dealership. Now after trying to resolve the issue I purchase a new one $528. I shipped there's back at my expense $93.24 I feel this a bad business.Business response

We Received, (Sierra Paint and Body) A case filed against our business on December 14, 2022 Number ******* *******************************. *********************** (owner) spoke With ******************************* Via Phone by the number listed on the complaint on 12-14-22 and explained to her that we are a collision Repair Shop and do not sell parts. The Name she lists in the complaint is Sierra Auto Supplies. We Both are under the conclusion that this complete was sent to the wrong shop. ******** stated she would contact BBB as well.
