in July 2023 I signed up to use easy pay to help finance work being done on my car. on 8/15/23 I got notice from Easypay finance that my finical institution I use to process all of my payments had requested a chargeback for a transaction on 7/6/23. once this chargeback happened it automatically put my account 30 days past due. forcing me to no longer qualify for the 90 day promotion. I called easy pay on 8/16/23 to let them know I never requested a chargeback. Easypay said they needed to investigate the matter AND THAT THEY ALWAYS HAVE TROUBLE WITH PAYMENTS FROM CASH AP. I then provided written documentation from my bank that no such chargeback was requested and then on 8/18/23 I provided that information to easy pay. Easypay then told me they verified on their end that that chargeback was valid. I then requested any documentation on the charge back request from my financial institution. I was first told that was a special request and I needed to email to request it. once requested easy pay then said they can't provide me with the document. I assured them I nor my bank requested a chargeback and the only option they say I have is to call easy pay then call my bank on threeway. I declined simply because at this point its clear this is a scam easy pay does to stop customers from being eligible for the promotion allowing their company to capitalize off of the insane interest rate. I always planned to pay in my 90 days and never missed a payment or requested a chargeback. Lastly the money was never returned on my end, all I have is easy pay telling me they returned the money like my financial institution requested but no proof of the request. After reading BBB reviews on the company I got sadden realizing this is what they do all around America. I had to leave work early due to stress cause by them telling me someone requested a chargeback without providing proof. I am being robbed and taken advantage of by easy pay finance and I don't know what to do.Business response

We received and reviewed the complaint initiated by ******* ********. Thank you for allowing us the time to
respond.
This relates to an Installment Loan Agreement (“Agreement”) with ************** ******** ***** ***. dba *** **** as Lender, facilitated and serviced by ****** Billing Services LLC, dba EasyPay Finance (Agreement
enclosed). On June 17, 2023, ******* signed the Agreement, along with an application for credit and an EFT
Authorization for services provided by 327 ******* ****** **** ******* Ltd dba ***** - 327.
On July 7, 2023, ******* had two payments processed. One payment for $*****, declined as “Insufficient
funds.” The second payment for $***** was charged back on August 14, 2023.
On August 16, 2023, ******* called EasyPay Finance customer service department and spoke with a
representative. ******* stated that ******* had canceled one of ********* payments. Since the first payment
declined, EasyPay Finance believes the payment ******* referenced is the payment that was charged back.
The charge back payment dispute was reviewed by EasyPay Finance’s credit card processing vendor
Converge. After reviewing the dispute, Converge confirmed the charge back was valid and was completed.
The outcome of this dispute was emailed to ******* on August 18, 2023. (Email enclosed)
On August 18, 2023, a customer service representative offered to do a three-way call with ********* bank to
help resolve the issue via email (Email enclosed for reference). However, ******* declined the offer.
EasyPay respectfully declines ********* request for a refund. If ******* has any further questions regarding the
account or our response, please contact our Customer Service Supervisor ***** directly at ************.

We received and reviewed the rebuttal initiated by ******* ********* Thank you for allowing us the time to
respond.
As stated in the previous BBB complaint response, ******* had two payments process on July 7, 2023. One
payment for $*****, for which ******* states in the rebuttal that this payment declined. ********* second
payment that was processed on July 7, 2023, in the amount of $*****, ******* states in the rebuttal that the
$***** charge was cancelled. Although the $***** payment may have been cancelled by ********* bank on a
certain day, it can take several days for an ACH transaction to process, causing the difference in dates.
******* has stated twice that both transactions for July 7, 2023, were either canceled or declined. Attached is a
copy of ********* payment history. To date, EasyPay Finance has only received one payment from *******.
******* has yet to provide a bank statement showing the $***** payment that remains cleared in the bank
account. As previously stated to *******, EasyPay Finance can complete a three-way call with the bank or
******* can provide bank statements of the transaction history for EasyPay Finance to review. If ******* does
not provide this information, EasyPay Finance is unable to further assist with this concern.

This company is twisting my words in a clear attempt to take advantage of me. As stated I called in a day earlier then my arranged payment date and paid **$ which should have canceled the automatic payment the following day for **$. at that same time I WAS CHARGED **$ A SECOND TIME IN 24 HOURS. this time unauthorized. I called in the cancel THE SECOND UNAUTHORIZED **$ PAYMENT. the original 60$ payment cleared the following Monday 7/8. Attached is the receipt showing this completed charged processed. I previously provided correspondence between me and my financial institution confirming that I never requested a chargeback of any kind at any point. I only canceled the double charge. I did that on 7/6 and since then neither me or my financial institution requested a chargeback. on top of all this it has been officially 35 days since the alleged chargeback and I still have not been refunded the **$ I am being robbed and the stress is becoming unbearable I've had to call off work several times and been to the emergency room for anxiety due to this blatant robbery and abuse of power. I received letter in the mail I had 5 days to pay or this will go on my credit. I'm in the process of buying a home if this effects that I'm going to be forced to take legal action. my account should be placed on hold until this matter is resolved.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by EasyPay Finance in relation to my PetPalace purchase. My account has been diligently maintained with on-time payments, but I encountered an issue with the second-to-last payment, which was promptly resolved by re-sending the payment.Despite resolving the payment issue immediately, I am shocked and dismayed to discover that EasyPay Finance is now attempting to charge an additional $800 in interest on top of the $1,900 I have already paid. This excessive interest charge is unjust and completely unwarranted, as I have fulfilled my payment obligations in a responsible manner up until the temporary mishap.I kindly request that this matter be investigated promptly by the proper authorities, and that the excessive interest charges be removed from my account. I believe in fair and transparent business practices, and I expect the same from EasyPay Finance.Please respond to this complaint at your earliest convenience and provide a resolution to this matter. I hope that the Better Business Bureau will intervene and help rectify this unfair situation.I do not wish to deal with these lying crooks any more and am considering legal action.Initial Complaint

My daughter completed ******************** contract in her name only *********************** In dec 2022 with Maaco auto painting. My name *************************** had nothing to do with it, yet it is showing on my credit report as 454 days past due. I want it removed from my credit report. I called Easy pay also known as Duvera they told me my daughter used my info so i should file a police report for identity theft. She did no such thing as all paperwork has ONLY her name on them.
