********************************** contracted with Mega Outdoor******* for an outdoor ***** event on Oct. 21, 2022 and paid a total amount of $1583.71 for their services, which included an experienced technician, a 25x15 inflatable movie screen, all projection, sound and cables and a microphone. The contract stated an arrival time of 4pm, with a start time of 5pm. The company was contacted on the day of the event by our PTA to confirm arrival time and directions and were assured everything was set. On Oct. 21, an employee of Mega Outdoor ****** did not arrive until 5:30pm, and only had the inflatable screen and told us he "did not know" where the projector was, or if it was coming. At 6pm, he let us know that his boss,******, put the projector in an **** and it would arriving soon. Once the projector arrived, they did not have the correct cables, or extension cords to set up the projector and the employee was consulting ******* on how to work the projector. At 7pm, the projector was still not working and a parent attending the event had to step in and help the employee to figure it out. There also was no microphone included, which was in our contract. The employee repeatedly stated that he had no idea how to work the equipment. We contacted the owner of the company,******, during the course of the evening and he stated he was sick and that there was nothing he could do. We requested a full refund for this event and even though we were reassured multiple times of a refund, no refund has been issued. The owner,******, as well as his secretary, ****************, have refused to issue the refund and continue to avoid our calls and give further reasons on why the refund has not occurred. We have attempted to call the owner numerous times and he will not take the call. This company did not provide the service or equipment we paid for and this business is disreputable and we would like a full refund.Business response
