On May 31st, 2024, I hired Same Day Appliance INC to repair my refrigerator. The technician, *******************, promised to complete the job but never returned, leaving my refrigerator unfixed. I paid $75, and my insurance, Choice Home Warranty, paid $530, but the work was never finished. Despite my attempts to follow up, the company has not communicated with me or tried to resolve the issue. Given the lack of professionalism and integrity shown by ******************* and Same Day Appliance INC, I request a thorough investigation into this matter. If any regulations or ethical standards have been violated, I urge that his license be revoked.Business response

Hello! Thank you for your complaint and for the request to suspend the license of this technician. This ticket is linked by the ***************************************** Half of the Job is finished what is related to the ice maker. The second part of the job is not possible to finish because the part is no longer produced. The payment from CHW to Same Day Appliance INC was canceled and for 2.5 hours lost by the technician plus the part changed in the refrigerator was not paid. Unfortunately, we cannot revoke anyone's license because the part is not available to fix a problem, it is not such a serious cause. I am rejecting this response because: I am deeply dissatisfied with the technicians service and the explanations provided regarding the ******* RF30KMEDBSR/AA refrigerator. The refrigerator is only 5 years and **************************************** October 2018, and is still being sold on the ******* website. Despite the ice maker leaking, the technician claimed that parts were no longer being produced, which is misleading and incorrect. Furthermore, I contacted Choice Home Warranty and was informed that they paid the technician $500 for the job. If I were to cancel the policy, I would only receive $600 out of the $1,300 I paid for a 3-year warranty. When I inquired about recovering the $500 because the job was incomplete, I was told that since the claim was made over ************************************** Additionally, the warranty company offered to make another claim for us, but we declined because it would cost me another $75, plus another $500 from the insurance. I have repeatedly tried to contact the technician to address the ongoing issue, and he assured me he would return to finish the job. Yet, despite his promises, the problem persists, and I am left with a leaking refrigerator and no resolution in sight.Business response

Hello! Good news, I received an email today from the ************ parts department regarding the part that was inaccessible. This part has been sent to us and will arrive in a few days. The technician will go to finish this job in the next 5 days. The customer will receive a message regarding the day and time when the technician will go to finish this job. Thank you
