I was shipped the fridge, but from day 1 it was not cooling. I have made multiple attempts to contact the company to get a warranty repair, but with no resolution or scheduling for this. I also emailed and called asking for approved warranty repair companies but I have had no reply.Initial Complaint

Freezer received 08/08 between ********* Chef AAA notified NLT 1800 of damage Chef AAA notified on 08/12 of more damage discovered and that the freezer will not maintain appropriate temperature. Multiples calls and emails since then requesting guidance, assistance, resolution to the issue at hand. I have spoken to both ******** and ******* regarding our order and asked to speak to a manager at which time I was transferred to a voicemail in the ******************** Next, I sent an email early this morning stating that I still haven't received communication from a manager and that my intentions were to file a complaint with BBB today. Lastly, there is a dispute on file for the purchase amount with our credit card company (as of this morning).Initial Complaint

The equipment I purchased is defaulting. It is still under 1 year warranty purchased in Mov 2023. I have made repeated calls, voicemails and sent them an email showing the problem before the sent out a repair person. The company then sent a repair person in early July 2024. Since then I have not gotten any more responses despite repeated calls asking them the status. No one will return my calls. We, ******* High School Boosters, purchase an Ice Machine from this company on 9/6/2023. It has stopped working. I have called several times. 1st time 6/24/24, 2nd time 7/1/2024, 7/10/2024. Each time you call the company and you select the warranty/repair department, the mailbox is full and you can not leave a message. I have emailed our Sales **** that sold us the unit, and no response. I have submitted 4- 24 hour responses, on their website, and NO response, email nor phone call.Initial Complaint

On June 27, ************** Services placed an order #**** with Chef AAA for an ********************* GDF-9M 24' Commercial 1 Glass Door Merchandiser Freezer 7.3 cu.ft.On July 10, the freezer was delivered. It was not delivered to my dept.The freezer delivered was not the one that we ordered. The freezer received was a Heavy Duty Upright Freezer/Ice Cream Freezer. Same size but different color, and different design inside and out.I did not receive the email notice of delivery until July 11, they day after delivery was made. On July 12, I tried to call customer service 2 times and said voicemail full.On Monday, July 15, I spoke with a rep who told me to send an email to customer service about the situation along with pictures. I emailed customer service informing them that the freezer delivered was not the one we ordered and I emailed them pictures of the one we ordered from their website and pictures of the one we received - which also had minor damage to the back left top side of the unit. It was during that time that I looked Chef AAA up on Better Business Bureau and saw SO many very concerning complaints about then. I told them in my email that we want them to pick up the wrong unit and cancel the order and issue a refund. I don't have confidence in this business. On Tuesday, July 16, 2024 I received an email back from Chef AAA customer services stating that "it seems that this is the correct item you ordered. The manufacturer displays that is can also be used for ice since it is a freezer" and that they would st art a damage claim on our behalf for the dent.On Wednesday, July 17th, I was able to reach someone in customer service and when I gave her the order number, she put me on hold but then transferred me to a voicemail which was full.That day I called back 4 times to try to reach a representative with no success. On Thursday, July 18th, I called Chef AAA four times trying to reach someone with no success. I left 2messages with no response.Initial Complaint

We ordered a Chef AAA - SCD-880F, Commercial Solid 4 Half Door Reach-In Freezer 32 cu.ft. on April 6th 2024. It came without any refrigerant in it, so we called the company to have it returned. the person on the phone was really super nice and said that we would get a replacement. we are still waiting! I own a bakery and it is hard to run a bakery without a freezer! I would like to have my freezer! I don't want a refund, I would like to have our freezer unit.Initial Complaint

Date of transaction: 05/09/24 Transaction: Purchase of a display cooler Amount paid: ******** Despite offering the item online, vendor informed me that they do not have the item.I asked for the cancellation of the transaction and a refund.They said the transaction was cancelled and a refund was ordered to accounting.Up to date we haven't received the refund and now they are not answering our calls or emails.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for a donation to my church a commercial refrigerator. The company Chef AAA said when it arrives to unpackaged and inspected in which we did, but the driver would not take it back because there was damage I contacted the company, Chef AAA and filed a complaint with them. It has been well over 90 days which they first they said it would be 4 to 6 weeks. Id hear something then they said its 90 days now theyre not even replying to me at all the company they had send it out shipped with roadrunner freight, they said I could contact roadrunner but I dont have a contract with roadrunner. I didnt hire them so I cant contact them to complain about this has to be them and theyre doing nothing about it at this point. I have asked Just prior to this, I asked it Ive called and left messages and stated to pick the refrigerator up and give me an exchange. You bring me a refrigerator and then they can deal with road run. , they said I could contact roadrunner, but I dont have a contract with roadrunner. I didnt hire them so I cant contact them to complain about this has to be them and theyre doing nothing about it at this point. I have asked well just prior to this, I asked it. *** called and left messages and stated just to come pick the refrigerator up and give me an exchange. Purchased a commercial fridge on 4/22. On 4/23 *************************** called me and stated the glass doors for the fridge were on backorder. Asked if I wanted a free upgrade so I didn't have to wait. I accepted. Received the fridge on 5/1. Upon plugging it in, it did not get cool. I called immediately. They stated to unplug the unit and left a message for *******. Never heard back. I kept calling and emailing. She stated she would send it to "customer service" for warranty repair. Never heard back. Contacted again, customer service said they were waiting on a technician. Called again, same answer. Now they have completely stopped communicating with me. I am stuck with a big fridge I can't use. I would like them to come get this fridge as it is not fair to leave me stranded with it as I have no way of getting rid of it.
