I have been trying to cancel this warranty policy that I purchased on 10/10/2024 have called numerous times to request my refund Ive spoken with several representatives about cancellation and was told it was canceled but yet they are still drafting money out of my account when I made it clear to cancel everything I did not want to do business with them anymore .Business response

In December of 2023 I decided to cancel my policy. I was told when I purchased the policy that I could cancel it at any time. I followed the directions in "Section X. Cancellations" of their policy (CGA-Platinum DLX TIC GS Form Number ******* TIC GS **** ******) and patiently waited for my prorated refund. When I hadn't received anything by February I called and was informed that I needed to provide the odometer reading in my cancellation letter (not mentioned in Section X). I wrote another notarized letter providing my odometer reading. I followed up by calling a few weeks later and was told that they had all the information that they needed but that it could take up to six weeks to process the request. That was the last time I was able to talk to a live agent. Ever since I keep getting a automated recording that asks me why I am calling, gets my name and phone number, then tells me that a live agent will call within half an hour. No one has ever called me back though I have called several times during the last several months sometimes multiple times a day. I am frustrated that I cannot contact anyone and that (despite following all their procedures) I still do not have my prorated refund.Business response

At the start of the transaction they told me that they would send my reciept which the number is ********** and the contract but I NEVER received anything. So I don't remember the exact amount for the first transaction but they had me paying $243.17 every month starting from June 30th this year. Recently I came to the realization of no longer needing the warranty so I tried to cancel last August. I was told by the bot that an agent would return my call within 30 minutes but I never received anything. Then after looking at their business on ****** I've come to an alarming realization that I've been scammed along with other people from this fake company! I changed my credit card but I'm still receiving mail about late fees on the fake warranty! I don't want this to impact my credit! This was the original number that they gave me which was ************. Please help!Business response

My husband and I received a card in the mail 10-8-24 from Warranty Protection Services to call and get an extended warranty for our new vehicle ***** CRV 2024. We thought it was sent from ***** Dealership in **************, ** where we purchased the car 7 weeks ago. Apparently, it was not. A ***** ******** ************ with that company sold us a policy for our new 2025 ***** CRV for a fee of ********,and then convinced us that it would be ideal if we also purchased an old car policy on our 2014 ***** Accord for ******, and pay payments of ****** a month for 18 months. After a few days, we got suspicious and I checked out Warranty Protection Services on BBB. I was shocked and upset to read several complaint reviews on this company! We contacted ***** Dealership in **************, ** and found out that this business was not affiliated in any way with ***** Warranty.. We cancelled our policy on Oct. 16, 2024 over the phone. They assured us the policy would be cancelled that day and we would definitely get an email with the confirmation number and when the funds would be reimbursed. That has never happened! We have called every couple days with no real person answering, only AI recorded voice. We finally contacted our bank, **** to try and start an investigation with this company to try and get them to reimburse us the ********. Apparently, this company is truly a scam and does not intend to refund any monies!Initial Complaint

Warranty Protection Services USA called my mother, who has Alzheimer's, and convinced her that an extended warranty was needed on her vehicle. My mother does not have a credit or bank card, but managed to find a voided check. The caller convinced her to read the routing and account information off the bottom of the check to initiate the payment process. My brother and myself have repeatedly called this company to close her account and stop payments, but they refuse to return our calls. They either do not call, or start talking about power of attorney (which we both have) and a requirement that my mother call. The second payment left her account today and we have yet to hear back from them.Business response

I accept the cancellation of the "policy" but require a refund of $500.36 to be sent by certified check to my mother. A further promise not to contact her from the future, from Warranty Protection Services, or any other entity owned or operated by the parties involved.Business response

My father passed away on July 9th. Called the company to cancel the protection plan. We were told that it was cancelled. The following month, they debited our account. Called the ********************** again, advised that they debited our account even though we canceled the policy. They requested my fathers death certificate. We provided this information. Company advised that we would need to provide a power of attorney in order to receive a refund of the $197.33. We provided them the *** on 8/12/24. No response from the company. We received an on 8/30/24 email that the next monthly payment is going to be debited on 9/3/24. Called the company back, they advised that the account was cancelled and to ignore the email. They advised that the billing department is going to contact us. Never contacted.THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! They need to be shutdown.Business response

I purchased an extended warranty plan from Warranty Protection Services (WPS) on 9/18/23. However, due to financial hardship, I decided to cancel my policy. I reviewed Section X in their booklet and called WPS on 2/9/2024 to cancel, they put a remark on my account and told me a refund would take 8-9 weeks. I mailed the notarized Letter of Cancellation on 2/10/2024 (delivered on 2/16/2024).After waiting well over 9 weeks I called WPS on 6/19/2024 to ask about my refund, they told me that their department received the Letter sometime between 3/11/2024-3/15/2024 and that the refund was never processed because the Letter did not contain my vehicle's mileage. (I can't remember the exact date when WPS received the 1st Letter of Cancellation, I have tried calling WPS to get the exact timeline but it seems they are blatantly ignoring me since I've left my name and number on 3 separate occasions, 8/22/2024 at 1:28 pm, 8/23/2024 at 10:06 am & 8/26/2024 at 8:26 am respectively)I called again on 6/20/2024 to inquire about the "mileage" issue since Section X never specified that "mileage" was required to be on the Letter of Cancellation. I also asked why I never received a phone call, email, or postage regarding this matter, to which they had no response. I then mailed my 2nd Letter the same day (delivered on 6/24/2024). I called WPS on 8/9/2024 to ask if they received the 2nd Letter and they confirmed. About 10 minutes later WPS called again but this time they informed me that I would not be receiving a refund because Mepco (the company to whom I made my monthly payments) canceled my policy before WPS could cancel on their end. Stating from Section X that if the contract is canceled due to non-payment I forfeit any refunds due to me.According to Mepco, my policy was canceled due to non-payment on 3/19/2024. Given the time frame when WPS got my 1st Letter, this should have been plenty of time for WPS to cancel my policy. I would just like my pro-rated refund.Business response

We purchased an extended warranty on a new Honda Pilot on 9/6/22, we traded this car off for a new one on 12/6/23, under the terms of their warranty program we were to receive a refund of the unused portion of the warranty, we have sent all the related documentation 3 times, the last time via certified letter on 2/21/24, have been if contact with them and the heir answer is it is being processed, were told we would see the refund the week of May 20th, did not happen, when they did return a call said that they had to shut down for covid so it delayed the processing of the refund, we still have not received the refund and they will not return a phone call and if they do all they will do is give another excuse, I have left over 20 messages in the last 30 days and they will not return a call, all you get when you call inn is an automated recording saying they will call back in 30 minutes, it never happens. I would not recommend this bunch of unethical people if my life depended on it, I just want what they legally owe us.Business response

Warranty Protection Services has been sending me mailing for an auto warranty scam they conduct. They’ve lied about receiving personal information from my dealership, which I’ve already verified. They’ve refused to remove me and my vehicle from their database even after demanding it. They have stated they will continue to send me mailings despite my telling them not to. We are now contacting you and the ** Attorney Generals Office and filing complaints against these scammers. I want my personal data and information including my truck removed from their database immediately.Business response

UNSATISFACTORY RESPONSE; I do not have a contract with them. Again this is a lie. I desire that they completely remove my private and personal information from their database immediately, including my automobile information stored in their database. Never to contact us again for any reason or attempt to utilize information gather from Polk. As we originally demanded in three phone and e-mail attempts and with the BBB.
They have not indicated they are willing to do so or have done so. As they res in violation of ** Identity Theft Statutes, Article 16: Larceny, 30-16-1 through 30-16-48
Section 30-16-24.1: Theft of identity; obtaining identity by electronic fraud, we are pursuing criminal action against them thru the ** Attorney Generals Office.This is how they are and how they respond to the public they are attempting to fraud. Which is a further indicator of their fraudulent activities.

I do not believe they have follow thru with any removal of my personal and private information or my vehicle information. They have provided no evidence to the fact, only there word which has already been established as fraudulent and false. Their criminal intent has been turned over the ** Attorney General’s Office for adjudication.
I’ve had multiple dealing and demands with this same company in the past and they are liars.
I reject their response as unsatisfactory and believe they are once again lying with fraudulent intent.????

I received an inquiry in the email that my newly purchased car needed an extended warranty. I contacted the business and signed up for a warranty. The prices was $3,931.00 and it took effect on 11/28/2023. I had a contract that last 60 months and began paying $200 every month grom November 2023 until June 2024. I found out I already had a warranty on my car that purchased through the dealership. Later reading reviews on the Warranty Protection Services USA and found out they were a scam. They wont close out my account until I pay for July 2024 totaling in $200 and said the bill would be sent to collections if unpaid. I would like my money back that I have paid thus far but that doesnt seem possible with them requesting payment from me.Business response
