On January 4th, 2022, an employee of Tailored Tree was sent to my property when I requested help removing snow. I provided two pictures that were taken at dusk so it was likely unclear which part of my property I was asking to be cleared. While that should have prompted an inquiry to get clarification, the end result was significant damage to my driveway, and the area beyond my driveway. Lighting fixtures were affected, my retaining wall was ripped apart in multiple areas and several portions of my driveway were damaged. I never mentioned my driveway when asking for help.I reached out to ***** and demanded that someone come to inspect what had been done. ****** arrived and immediately started making excuses and also tried to convince me that parts of the damage were not from his work.I asked him to leave and once again reached out. ***** sent his Operations Manager *** a few days later, who also immediately started trying to disregard my frustration and said that damage to the driveway is to be expected and said that my driveway was already "in poor repair". I pointed out a few areas where it wasn't cracked before ****** came and he pushed his foot into it, creating two divots. On January 20th, I informed ***** that all snow had melted so the area was clear for repairs. He said he could possibly get someone to come the following week and informed me that *** had passed away. I offered my condolences and expressed my patience and willingness to give them time. In the following months, he would ask what day/time would work for me to have someone come to the house and then Id hear nothing until Id reach out again. On Thursday, May 18th, (135 days after the incident occurred) someone came to the house, loosely pieced together the damaged areas of the retaining wall (leaving many sections with gaps) and left, and that so far has concluded the communication Ive received. I received an estimate for $3100 by the original driveway contractor to fix the damages.

***** has been paid for his claimed damages. He has closed out his claim with the **** and this matter is resolved.

We hired Tailored Tree to trim some oak trees on 3/17/2022. They completed the job. While on our property, the driver of their machinery lost control of his vehicle, rolled down our driveway, and destroyed our retaining wall and the associated landscaping. We suspect that the vehicle operator and other crew members were high while on the job. We have attempted to contact the company and owner several times. The owner stated that he would call on 3/23/2022 - he did not. Since then I reached out on 3/29, 4/3, 4/8, and 4/11 - all without a response. The pictures below are their attempt to put the wall back together. We were not able to get a picture of it when it first happened, however, I know that the owner has one because one of his guys sent him a picture immediately after it took place.

      Hi there!

*************************** made a complaint that her rock wall was bumped by one of our large crew trucks. This is correct and we immediately acknowledged that the issue would be fixed. The matching landscaping keystone blocks were out of stock for several months (supply chain issue) but as soon as we were able to get them we had the fix done. The homeowner also never paid for any of her $1700 tree trimming project which she acknowledged was done very well.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern.  I have been in communication with the owner of Tailored Tree ******* to get the issue fully resolved - it is more complicated than noted in the 1/20/2023 response from the company.  My last communication with ***** was via text on December 10th, 2022.  He has not responded to this communication.

      Respectfully,

      Erin
