Last week I sent in a complaint that someone signed me up for Beachbody, LLC because I would never. I do not believe in MLM's. I follow a bunch of anti-MLM on ******** I know these companies are trash. So, there is no way on the Beachbody website to delete the account that made. Now they're saying they could not confirm my identity and they cannot delete the account. I provided them all of the correct information. I WANT MY PERSONAL DATA AND INFORMATION REMOVED FROM THEIR BUSINESS. I want my personal information deleted from their website. I do not want them to have my personal information. Apparently Beach Body says I subscribed to their on-demand program, which is understood that it is an annual renewal, however, the representative said it renewed on 9/21/2024 yet I was charged on 11/6/2024 in the amount of $193.32. Upon finding this out, I waited until after work and called their customer service line, which was nearly impossible to find, and the guy in the *********** told me that they do not offer money back and that I have to fill out some form for them to make an exception to get my refund, to which I had nothing else to say. I asked to speak with management, to which I was denied and told that he would not allow me to speak with anyone higher because they would tell me I cannot get a refund of my money. I did not want to renew the subscription because this economy does not allow for extra things like this right now.Business response

I signed up for Beachbody (BODi) a year ago. Within the past year, the services were never used. On 11/2 I was charged a renewal of $179. I called immediately upon seeing the charge on 11/3 when it appeared in my banking app. I was told nothing would be done, but I could fill out an additional form. I did this and was denied a refund because I opened/viewed on 10/02/2024, 10/09/2024, 10/10/2024, 10/12/2024, 10/14/2024, 10/20/2024 & 11/05/2024. Which is odd because, I do not have that e-mail in my inbox. Clearly, my e-mail had been compromised. I have changed my password to my e-mail account but have no record of this e-mail that was sent that I (supposedly) opened so many times to remind me of the upcoming charges they are now denying a refund for on a product that is used. Their customer service is deplorable and they have no interest in the betterment of their customers. Because it is now my word against theirs and they simply do not care to help people in any way, I am out $179 for absolutely nothing. I hope that everyone who has a problem with them files similar complaints and requires this company to do better for the people!Business response

Our records show that the annual BODi prebill email was opened/viewed multiple times prior to the next scheduled renewal. At the time you had the ability to manage your memberships or subscriptions. Customers can manage their memberships or subscriptions at anytime online via self-service or by contacting customer support.

I had originally canceled this subscription by phone in the fall of 2023.when reviewing my credit card statement I saw that I was charged again in October of 2024. I was billed $179 plus tax today for a service I canceled. I bought a package of products from this company and canceled about a month after. The package included coaching materials, shakes, and an online subscription to their workouts. I canceled everything (or so I thought) my only guess is that I was supposed to go to a different place to cancel the online subscription. I was able to sign up and pay easily in one place, ethically I feel like I should be able to cancel everything and see everything Im being billed for in one place just as easily. I have meticulously combed through my emails to see if there was any notice of this upcoming charge and there was not. There was however numerous advertisements for me to renew at a discount. I am unable to reach a live person at the moment to have this charge refunded. Hopefully they will see that I canceled my package back in December ******************************************************** this package including the online service and refund it with no issues. If not, I will have to dispute this with my bank.Business response

I canceled my beach body subscription on January 19, 2022 but they have continued to charge me for the past 3 years with no notification. I know that my intention to cancel was meant for the subscription I keep getting charged for because the initial subscription (that was listed as canceled in Jan 19, 2022) was first charged October 26, 2020, it auto renewed again October 26, 2021 then I put in for cancellation on January 19, 2022. They have apparently continued to charge me on the same October 26th renewal date despite me canceling my subscription on January 19 of 2022. I sincerely hope that this is some kind of computer error because I know I canceled this service and there is a cancellation documented in Jan 2022. I think that this company added a fraudulent subscription to my account despite my earlier cancelation and is now trying to hide behind terms and conditions. I have not added any new subscriptions or accessed any content since Jan 2022.I am lucky I caught the charge today. I would really like a refund for at least this years charge because I know from some basic research this company will not do the right thing and refund their customers the full amount of money they have taken. I do not want access to their content and would prefer my money back. I would also like some reassurance that they will not charge my card again with some new subscription I did not sign up for.Business response

Charged on auto renew. For the last 2 years. Just realized this month. Was never sent any emails for auto renew. Which also seems other people have confirmed this as well reading other reviews. Definitely feel as though this company is taking advantage of people. Especially if you can see all past communication with them Cant they tell if someone hasnt used the account for over two years? That alone should be enough reason to refund someone. Youre taking advantage of people not looking at their bank accounts. They are using the you signed an agreement as a way out. What happened to a decent company. Why would anyone ever recommend them after knowing this. 188$$ thats not just an amount some people can throw away. They said it doesnt matter if I had used it or not. Right. Because they only care about the money. So much for wanting to help people.Business response
