This organization, and/or its billing company which seems to be Sierra ******************* and Athena ****** continues to bill me BUT ***************** has called Sierra Surgical TWICE to inform them they should not bill me until Anthem has processed the claim. I continue to receive billing via text (although I never authorized contact via ***** ******** I received 1 bill in snail mail with a sticker marked "urgent" BUT I SHOULD NOT BE BILLED UNTIL MY INSURANCE PROCESSES THE CLAIM. I feel harassed. If this company is sending me inappropriate bills, then they are doing this also to people who don't realize they shouldn't be billed anything until their insurance has processed the claims. Is this a class action issue?Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
In todays snail mail I received a packet from the BBB regarding my complaint ID ********, *************************************** ************** Sierra Pacific Surgical sent a letter dated May 9, 2024. That letter contain lies, and Im including proof of those lies with this email.As I noted previously, although I never should have been billed by this company until my insurance completed processing and payment, I received a total of six (6) bills, two via text, two via email, and two via snail mail. Also, during my first phone call with ***************** on March 26, 2024 the **** Cross agent informed me that my bill had been received and was in processing as of March 20, 2024. Did Pacific Surgical actually send another bill to ***************** on March 26, 2024 when my bill was already in processing at ********** as of March 20, 2024?Next, there is nothing in Sierra Pacific Surgicals new patient paperwork that states text bills would come from an area code that is not local, and/or that email bills would be sent from a company other than Sierra Pacific Surgical. Finally, the two paper bills I received in snail mail apparently were sent from different addresses; the bill dated March 21, 2024 has a return address at the office where I had my appointment and the bill dated March 28, ********************** *******, *****. That is at least 3000 miles from the office in ******, ***********My insurance paid my bill in full, but this complaint isnt about paying my bill. My complaint is that I shouldnt have been billed at all until my insurance fully processed and paid whatever amount insurance would pay. My complaint also concerns the tactics this company used in sending bills via both text and email, as all four of those bills looked like spam/scam since they were sent from a phone number I wasnt familiar with and a company I wasnt familiar with. Finally, Im addressing this companys lies in their responses to the BBB.Thank you!Business response
