I replaced a water tank and contacted Indoor Restore about inspection and testing. In addition to the testing, Indoor Restore claimed that I needed to pay $1,789.80 for cleaning work. I paid $198 for the inspection and testing, and I also paid a $895 deposit for the cleaning work. However, I found out from ************************ who had replaced the water tank, there was no need to perform additional cleaning work, as Rico ************ had already performed the cleaning work. I requested a refund from Indoor Restore, but they ignored me and won't respond back. Indoor Restore misled me into believing that additional cleaning work was necessary, otherwise I would not have paid the $895. Indoor Restore refused to give me a refund of the $895 even though no cleaning service was performed. The contact at Indoor Restore was ********************* at ************. Our contractor *********************** arranged for Indoor Restore to do mold mitigation work on our Lafayette home. This company required a deposit of $2817 which we payed with my husband Rons check number 453 from B of A on July 12,2021. We have copies of the front and back of the check showing that is was deposited in ***** ********** on July 23, 2021 to the account of Environmental Services. The company never responded to our requests for an appointment to do the work! It was weird that they wouldnt schedule this, wouldnt return our calls and then months later said that we hadnt paid because we werent in their system ! We have twice sent them the photos of the front and back of the check to no avail. I continue to speak to a person named ***** who has told me about a dozen times that hes working on this for me. Its all very mysterious and he wouldnt give me their physical address. Id need that information to serve them with papers for a Small Claims action that I intend to ************ Im again sending the copies of the check to ********************************************************* They answer the phone as Environmental Services and their business card has both business names but no physical address.We want our $2817 back from them ASAP. It cant be legal to retain a deposit for no work!Please let me know if you need to see the photos of our check.
