I purchased a motorcycle from Folsom Harley ******** 1-22-22. They have yet to file the paperwork with DMV. My temporary registration is expired and I am still paying on the vehicle and insurance . I have been getting letters from the financial company requesting the pink slip. The financial company has contacted the dealership but still no registration. I traveled to the dealership Saturday 7-23-22 and asked for another temporary registration so I could at least ride the motorcycle but they declined to help me.

We have been in communication with **************************  We understand his frustration.  This issue is not from a lack of trying nor did anyone at Harley-Davidson of Folsom drop the ball.  Long story short, another state put an improper hold on the title of this motorcycle, something we could not have foreseen.  It took months to get the previous lender because of this issue to release the title to us. Once we had title we resubmitted to CA DMV and they did the same thing. Once again held title because of the improper hold from another state.  We have been in communication with DMV for months to resolve these issues and have spoken to them on 7/27/2022 and their representative said that all issues have been resolved and that they would complete the registration process. Hopefully **** will see current registration in the next few weeks, we also asked to get a temporary registration asap, we were told it would slow the process down, so we declined to have them issue temporary reg, in hopes that **** will receive permanent reg asap. As far as the current lender Eagle ***** we have an excellent relationship with them, and they are aware of the situation. The letters they are sending **** are standard for the situation, but nothing to be concerned with at this time.  Per our recent conversation with DMV we believe these issues have been resolved and **** should be receiving reg shortly.

I am rejecting this response because: The information they provided as to why I have not received the registration doesnt match what DMV told me yesterday.

On June 9th we drove our motorcycle to the Harley-Davidson of Folsom for a diagnoses. We were quoted $270.00. They took two weeks to complete the diagnoses and we were calling and they were giving excuses. On June 23rd they sent over a quote with what needed to be done. At that point we could not come and pick the bike up because it was in pieces on the garage floor. So we were unable to take it anywhere else to get it fixed. After tying to decide what we were going to do the mechanic ***** and **** stated they would do the work for *******. We did not get this in writing. The original quote was for *******. Now it is July 13th and 3 more weeks have passed and we called to find out ************** and were informed that the mechanic was fired and the cost would be *******. I feel like this whole event has been horrible and would like to just get the bike back but truly not sure what I can do. ******* ************

This bike was dropped off to diagnose an oil leak and noise, charged $270 for diagnose.  ********* had leaked out of primary and clutch area completely dry.  Found metal fragments throughout primary area due to lack of oil.  The labor was about $1500 and the part were about $2500, total bill about $3500.  Spoke with 3 different people for approval, lots of confussion.  Customer denied repairs and piked up motorcycle and a box of parts.

I am rejecting this response because:  We dropped off the ****** on June 16th, 2022 for a diagnoses.  We were told at that time from **** it would be $270.00. **** stated they would get to it tomorrow and would contact us on what the recommendation diagnoses would be.  We drove the motorcycle into there shop and told them what was going on.  After days of trying to contact them with no one returning our call I was able to finally talk with *** and **** and they stated they would send over the diagnoses.  We never really received a diagnoses of what was wrong.  What we did receive was a work order for what they stated needed to be fixed.  That work order total was 3521.79.

Because of all the issues with no one returning our call and poor customer service *** offered to give us a discount. Then a short time later we get a call from ****** stating that *** could not give us a discount and him and **** had been fired.  If we wanted to move forward we had to paid the entire cost of the estimate.  At that point we decided that we needed to pick up the bike and take it to another shop for a second opinion.  ****** stated that the bike was in pieces on the floor and we would need a trailer to pick up the bike.  We ask him to put the bike back to the way it was when we brought it to ****** and he stated that he would have to charge us for at least 4-6 hours labor on top of the diagnoses and the new battery they put in. A new battery that we did not approve.  He then stated at that point we should just get the work done because the parts he took off were not useable any more.  We told them we would be in on Monday July 18th  with a trailer to pick up the bike and all the parts.  ****** then informed us the bike was not worth it because it was full on metal shavings. We told him they never said anything about metal shaving.  So we pick up the bike and towed it to another company The Motorcycle Clinic.  They charged us ****** for diagnosis and that would include putting the bike back together but not cover the repairs.  Then they could determine the problem.  We paid for that and we are waiting for there diagnoses.

We took the bike to a license motorcycle shop ****** ********* the same place where we brought the bike a year and a half ago.  They took the bike apart with out our permission or at least did not inform us they were going to take the bike apart.  They then tried to take advantage of us by forcing us to have them do the work.  They did not give us the bike back in the same condition that we gave it to them.   When they receive the bike it was running we drove it into their shop. We had to *************** to have the bike towed to a new shop.  Nothing they did was authorized except the diagnoses which they never did.  And we paid for that.  This place should not be in business they took advantage of us and our lack of knowledge with regards to motorcycle repair.  They never communicated any aspect of what they were doing.  They blamed it on us the employees and everyone else.  They never took responsibility for what they did.
