I purchased a baby monitor by mistake on February 2, 2024. On February 5, 2024 I initiated the return process. I attempted to cancel the order but the business did not respond to my initial email, created the shipping label, and then 10 minutes later told me it was too late and had already shipped. There was further correspondence and the item was returned to them on February 26, 2024. My grievance is that they have withheld a refund and are no ignoring my emails. On March 7 and 11 they indicated there was an issue with a PayPal return so I provided them requested information. Since then I have followed up with my refund 4 times with no response. It has now been nearly two months since they received the returned product and they have not processed my refund. The entire email thread is attached.Initial Complaint

The following order, ORDER VAVA90137, was placed on November 3rd, 2023. Here's what happened: The product arrived defective, so I proceeded to return it. However, the product got lost in transit from *** to the company. Even though I provided proof of delivery, VAVA refused to refund me until the product was claimed by their insurance. I waited for almost a month for this to happen. Eventually, I agreed to receive a replacement unit, which arrived with a different defect. As of today, they still refuse to refund my money, and I have yet to receive a replacement for the defective unit. It's been 5 months now, and the company refuses to take responsibility for either replacing the product or refunding my money.
