8/29/22: ordered 2 red sofas from business for $2505.15.11/22/22: sofas were delivered 11/28/22: received owner's cell phone number from ******** at Funky Sofa when I contacted their ***************** instructed by ******** to talk to *********************; texted him on this day 11/29/22: emailed ********************* (I believe he's the owner) regarding the sofas were not made properly, the fabric on both sofas was staining clothing; provided images of issues with both sofas 12/1/22: email, text and telephone call with **** During a phone call with **** in December (I believe it was 12/11/22), **** commited to making 2 new sofas to replace the ones that were delivered in November at no cost to me. **** instructed me to place a new order (#****) as a money order purchase, which I did online on 12/23/22. The cost of the sofas on that day was $3665.00. **** and I agreed that 1 sofa was improperly made (the curves of the arms of the sofa) and that it should be remade at no cost but with different red fabric so that the color would not bleed or transfer onto clothing when I sit on the sofa and shipped to me. **** said I could donate this sofa since it was not made correctly. We also agreed that the other sofa (different style, but same red suede fabric as the 1st sofa) would also be remade with different red fabric. For this sofa, we agreed that I would sell the sofa and send **** 50% of the money I make from the sale (even it is a few hundred dollars). As of today (7/27/23), I have not received the 2 replacement red sofas, nor have I received an estimated delivery date. I have repeatedly contacted Funky Sofa customer service and **** via phone and text. Those dates in 2023 are: 1/4, 3/2, 5/20, 6/9, 6/12, 6/13, 6/26, 6/28, 6/29, 6/30, 7/13, 7/14, 7/17, 7/21. The most information I have received was that **** was "checking with ******", the individual who makes the sofas.
