      PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE **** AND MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE - this is not being said out of revenge You will regret doing business with this company - they operate a scam of bait&switch, promising an estimate and then increasing the final value without justification. Service performed is very poor and camera is returned solled and not working properly. I made the mistake of complaining to them, got my name "flagged" and they refused payment with CC. Ofcourse now they can do a bad service and I am left with no defense resources after forced to use Zelle. All part of the scam All the bad reviews are true and just trying to save you from doing same mistake - doing business with them Please stay away and if you get in troubles file a complaint with IC3.gov

      If I could rate them lower I honestly would. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. I sent a Canon 77D last year around April 2021 for repair. They increased the amount they estimated and I still paid because I had just purchased my camera and only used it once. The website said I also had to pay for shipping to the store for repair and since the store is in the west coast and I'm located in the east coast I paid. They held my camera for over 6 months and sent it back STILL BROKEN. Within those six months I had to email and call about 10 times and deal with terrible customer service and flat out lies about how it was being fixed. They claim that they examine it prior to sending it back but I doubt they even picked it up to fix in the first place. I then sent it back and PAID FOR SHIPPING AGAIN. This time they kept it for another 3 months with no communication to me, ignoring my emails, and giving me excuses of "they can't find the part" so I tell them to just send me back my camera and refund me my money and they say they can't do that because they sent the camera out to Canon and all these excuses. For another 3 months I still have to call and email for more excuses and finally convinced them to send me back my camera with a full refund after threatening to sue. They send back my camera still not repaired and deduct the cost of shipping from the refund so instead of receiving the $267 I paid I received $223. I asked why they would only give me a partial refund especially after all they put me through and their website says they will pay for shipping back and the person I spoke to says the cost of shipping back is deducted because they weren't able to fix the camera. This doesn't even make any sense. Why am I paying for a camera you weren't able to fix? I just gave up on dealing with them overall. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with.

      I rate Camera & Camcorder Repair Center the WORST experience I've had in over 35 years of business.
      On a recommendation I sent my Panasonic Lumix S1 for repair on October 10, 2021. The camera would not turn on and C&CRC said they needed to replace the main circuit board.
      You can only communicate with Camera & Camcorder Repair via their website https://camerarepair.com.
      Once they received my camera they said it normally takes 5-7 business days to complete the work.
      I have contacted them every month since and now it's May 12, 2022. It's been 7 months!!!

      On November 23, 2021 they said the part was on backorder and the ETA for repair would be 12/11/21.
      In December of 2021, they said it would be fixed by 1/8/22.
      On 1/29/22 they said it would be fixed by 2/10/22.
      Then they said it would be fixed by 4/5/22.
      On April 11, I asked them to return my camera un-repaired.
      On April 19, 2022, they finally replied to my email to say "Hi there.
      Your product will be shipped back to you. Please allow for adequate time to process this shipment. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you.
      Camera Repair Center Service Management."

      On 4/28/22 I asked via email and their website if the camera had been shipped yet....got no reply.
      And finally today, 5/12/22, I sent my last request to them wanting to know if they have shipped my camera yet. No response.

      I recommend you never do business with Camera Repair Center Service.

      My PayPal Case Narrative-
      I originally contacted them in January 2022 since they listed themselves as a Canon approved repair center (false, as Canon does not approve repair centers). I sent them two Canon EOS Rebel XS cameras (CRXXXXX & 64). They notified they had received them and gave me an estimate of $112 each to repair.

      In February I receive a new estimate for $239 each and a comment that due to Covid 19, the part is back ordered. I contacted them directly (email only way possible) and they said it would be less than 10 days to finish.

      We are now in March and I receive one invoice. I contact them and ask way. No reply, but I eventually received second invoice for the same amount. I paid both and received a shipping confirmation. They were supposed to be shipped out on 3/15. According to USPS, they have not received the items to be shipped yet.

      I want a refund and I want the Camcorder Repair Center to be punished. I, like so many other's have been scammed by them it appears.
