While we have authorized the cancellation of this escrow, we insist that this action should be contingent upon the complete return of our ******* money deposit of $15,000.00 plus our Upgrade Deposit of $1,294.00, amounting to a total of $16,294.00. It has come to our attention that the entity responsible for our ******* money deposit operates independently from the escrow, potentially allowing the seller to cancel the deal without our consent. This has raised ethical concerns and further underscores the need for intervention and investigation into this matter.Here is a brief timeline of relevant communication:-September 29, 2023, at 5:51 pm: We sent an email to ******************* (Fortune Escrow, **** **************) regarding our cancellation.-October 5, 2023, at 2:33 pm, ***** forwarded us cancellation instructions from the builder, indicating their intention to maintain our ******* money deposit.-October 6, 2023, at 12:05 pm: I sent an email requesting ***** to send a cancellation instruction on our behalf, specifying that we are to receive a full refund of our ******* money deposit, including the upgrade deposit.-October 6, 2023, at 12:14 pm: ***** sent me an email refusing to send our cancellation instructions on our behalf.We find this situation perplexing, as we had believed that the escrow should function as a neutral third party, especially considering that ***** sent us cancellation instructions on behalf of the seller, as noted in bullet #2 above.For utmost clarity, we must emphasize that the escrow appears to be reluctant to follow our instructions in the preparation of our cancellation, which is inconsistent with its role as a neutral entity.We kindly request your assistance in ensuring a fair and equitable resolution in accordance with established real estate practices and regulations.
