My wife ordered a bag through this company on April 18, 2023. The email said we should receive the product in May, however we still have not received it. I emailed the company Sunday and they have not responded. Reviews of the company have not been positive, and I am just looking for a refund at this time.Initial Complaint

Purchased a bag on 12/16/22 for $165.00. 12/16 email from the company confirming my order. 12/19/22 email from company that said order is on the way with a *** 1Z40753V0332002210 tracking number. 1/21/23 sent an email to their support email address asking for a status update. Have received multiple emails from the company confirming they have received my communication and are working with their shipping warehouse to send the bag. This has gone back and forth until Monday 2/13/23 when I stated I need to receive my bag or refund within 2 business days or I was filing a complaint with BBB. I have not received the bag or my $165.00 refund. I would like help getting my refund and identifying this as a scam.Initial Complaint

We have tried contacting the company directly regarding this and have not received any resolutions. We are just trying to return a bag and dont have a clear path forward guaranteeing that we will get our money back. My husband ordered a bag from this company for me and did not receive any receipt, order number, or purchase confirmation. Because of this, he ended up ordering another bag a few weeks later thinking that he hadnt actually purchased - for this order he did receive a purchase confirmation, receipt, and order number. A week later he received two bags and was charged for two- even though he only wanted one. Unfortunately, now we are finding out that this company is not trustworthy at all in their return process. They require the customer to pay for shipping the item back, at which they decide if the item is worthy of being issued a refund. We have seen many complaints on social media of people returning the product and not receiving any refund after months of waiting. We have tried contacting them various times to get our issue resolved and have not heard anything back. When we purchased this bag we expected better and we were happy to support a new business. Being that the bag cost 199 dollars we expected a better purchasing and customer service experience.Initial Complaint

The dispute is concerning a purchase made on Jan. 11th for one of their products for $99. Despite receiving a confirmation of the order with shipping information, there was no movement on the progress of the delivery via the provided tracking number. I reached out on Jan. 22nd to request a refund due to the missing product. Though my email was explicitly requesting a refund, their response was to confirm shipping information. My second reply on the same day was to reiterate my request for a refund. Their subsequent reply the next day (Jan. 24th at this point) was confirming that they had reprocessed and reshipped my order and therefore could not cancel it.As of today, Feb. 1st I have received no confirmation or tracking information for the claimed second attempt to ship nor have I received any further correspondence from the company. I can only surmise that they either don't have the product or they are a front for a business altogether. I'm only asking for a complete refund for a product order that was never fulfilled.Initial Complaint

I placed an order online for a bag on 1/4/23. I paid $89. I received an email only hours after placing it that the order had shipped and providing a tracking number. I checked the tracking number for a few days and no progress was made. It just said shipping label created. **** awaiting package. I reached out via email to the company asking about the package on 1/9. On 1/10 they responded that the order was stuck and lost in transit. After responding and confirming my address I did not hear anything. I emailed on 1/11 asking for a new tracking number. On 1/13 they said since it was the weekend it would be Tuesday (1/17) before a new bag would be shipped. On 1/19 I emailed again asking for a new tracking number since nothing had been provided. They responded on 1/20 that their shipping facility shipped it 2 days ago and notified me but I received nothing. I asked again on 1/22 about my order and a new tracking number. They responded on 1/23 that they would follow up and get back to me. I have heard nothing since and have not received anything. I still want the bag but at this point I feel like Ive wasted my money. After all this runaround, I looked more up about this company and many people have had issues with them. They need to be stopped so others arent getting scammed.Initial Complaint

In October 2021, I backed Montage Bags on Kickstarter. In December 2021, I received an email to fill out my shipping information to receive my bag I ordered. In March 2021, it was supposedly shipped, but I never received it. I tried contacting Montage Bags through email multiple times over the next few months and received no response. Finally, they replied to me on Instagram in November ************************************ transit. Upon sharing that I am no longer interested in the bag due to this extremely frustrating process and that it has taken almost a year to receive anything, they agreed to send me a refund on November 7, 2022 and said it would be delivered in the next week. It is now nearly December and I havent heard a word from them, despite sending them additional messages on Instagram. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business with this company and would appreciate my refund as soon as possible. I am owed $168.
