I have encountered many issues with this school from telling me one thing and then doing another. Initially I was told during my semester I would be able to complete my last weeks of school (weeks ****) from home and come into the testing center for my tests. I received this information via a phone call with the Assistant Director of the *** program ***************************. I had completed my clinicals so she said this would be fine and she would work with me. She also stated to email her and keep her updated on my health. Later, I received an email that this was not allowed even though it had been approved by ****************. This ultimately led to the school letting me know that I would have to take a Leave of Absence that could have been avoided altogether had I not received this false information from ****************. If I had known this I would have pushed through and finished the last three classes. They are classroom setting classes and I managed to push through clinicals which I why this situation is so frustrating. I also called to schedule a meeting with student services and **************** in which she conveniently did not make it to. To add onto the issue of being forced to take a Leave of absence i received forms to return from a leave of absence from which I never took yet. It adds to the disorganization of this school. When returning from my leave of absence I ended up back at the hospital which I alerted ***************************, the Assistant Director of student services. She later emailed me that I could give her a call back when I get a chance. On December 19 I receive a voicemail that I need to return their call that day or I will be dismissed. On December 19 I received a school dismissal email and forms. I didnt not receive even a day before being dismissed from the school. I was also denied an appeal from the President and CEO of the school ***********************************. When asked what was considered for my dismissal I did not receive a response. I am a student at Stanbridge university. During my entire 10-week class, I and my fellow students complained about the teacher stating that she was not teaching us and wanted something to be done about the situation. We were promised that the staff would have someone would sit in on the class or we would get another teacher. Nothing ever happened. the school just wants the money. I believe that I should be refunded the entire cost.
