I am writing to formally request a refund for the tire and wheel protection plan. At the time of purchase, I was explicitly informed that I would be eligible for a refund if I did not use the protection plan. I have not made any claims or used the coverage throughout the entire term. However, when I recently contacted your team to cancel the plan and request a refund, I was informed that the plan had expired, and a refund was no longer possible.This information contradicts what I was told at the time of purchase. I made the decision to purchase the protection plan based on the understanding that I could receive a refund if the service was unused, which, as stated, it has been. I have carefully reviewed the terms of the agreement and see no mention of the refund being contingent on the plans expiration.AutoNation Finance Response

On MAY 14th 2024 I was pulled over by North **************** at ********* on *************** and Commerce , I was handcuffed . read my ******* rights .I was told by the Police my 2016 Kia **** which I purchased weeks earlier here in ********* was reported stolen on May 15. 2023 . I later discovered by a *** investigator CIG Auto nation had reported the 2016 Kia **** stolen , I was handcuffed . roughed up by one of the officers slammed into police unit then hours after was released . my car was impounded which cost me 350 to get it out . To this day I have been in contact with Auto nation financial to resolve this situation with compensation for the humiliation being arrested . It has been over 2 months now and I have been ignored , Auto nation tried to claim the dealership I purchased from and my present day finance company were at fault which I ridiculous as both were not involved in this at all as per the *** investigator ,AutoNation Finance Response

I have been a customer since December of 2021. I bought my first car from a small dealership, and had no credit at all, cig financed my loan. Even with my interest rates being 29% and my car payment being very high, I never once missed a payment. My car completely broke down, stopped working, I was told by dealerships it was going to cost thousands, and that the car had frame damage that was never disclosed, it had been covered up. So it couldnt be sold to the public. I still owed a lot! I have called them 14 times in the last 3 weeks asking to surrender the car because its pouring oil into my yard. They have called the repo companies TWICE now, and I set up an appointment, then CIG calls them and tells them not to get the car. I had to leave it in a parking lot because my HOA said it couldnt sit ant my house anymore. I have been begging them to take the car and they wont do it. And every time I call, they just keep saying ok we will get the car, the repo company calls, then CIG cancels. This has just been and awful experience, I just want them to get the car , that doesnt run, isnt drivable, and is leaking oil absolutely everywhere.AutoNation Finance Response

Tried to call the customer service number many times but no one is there. Only robot and automated reply. I cannot get a customer representative as they said in their website to solve my questions!AutoNation Finance Response

Shady company! I will never do business with this company again. I will let my friends and family know not to do business with them as well. They deserve 0 stars. ******** in the bankruptcy **** has poor customer service, and forgot we consumers keep her employed. I received a call from an automated number today about a late payment. However, I made my final payment before I received the call. My vehicle has been paid in full. My vehicle is not scheduled to be paid off for another month, but I've done so early. So I'm confused as to why I received the phone call. I have called at least 7 telephone numbers, but ironically no one is available to take my call, to find out why I would receive a call, after I have made my final payment and when in fact the vehicle isn't scheduled to be paid off for another month. The payoff detail says I have a $0.00 balance. I now own the vehicle. I'm just waiting for my title. In the past, I have NEVER been deprived the opportunity to speak with someone, even when I had to request a deferment due to the pandemic. However, now that I've paid my vehicle off, absolutely no one in the company is free to take a call. I didn't even get the opportunity to wait for the next available representative. I find this very unprofessional and the face that I have left voicemails on over 7 phones and no one has even bothered to call me back is way beyond unacceptable. If I don't receive my title soon, this will become a legal matter, because if I don't make a payment, they will come pick my vehicle up. If I could give a 0 star rating, that is what you would get because I have received 0 assistance today.AutoNation Finance Response

I can't make an automated payment. Every time I ask a representative about it, they tell me: "They're working on it" and, today, was told that I was not the only customer with complaints. My account number is simultaniously my account number and not my account number. I'm definitely never using this lender again. Do yourself a favor and go with someone else. At this point, it seems as though they're making it harder to pay so they can get more money from late fees.AutoNation Finance Response

Every month I receive several calls and emails way before the due date of my payment. I have never missed a payment or made a late payment. There is absolutely no need for CIG to harass me every month!!!AutoNation Finance Response

Thank you for voicing your concerns and/or issues. Our records show that your account was delinquent due to a late charge on your account. The payment you made on May 5, 2022, was applied to the late charge fee, and remainder of the payment was applied towards your **** payment, therefore causing a delinquency. In reviewing this account, we decided to waive your late charge as a courtesy and applied your **** payment in its entirety to your monthly payment. We can assure you our representatives will not be making calls to you until your account has reached 6 days of delinquency.
