This company is a family-owned business in which the family closely works together. I was hired to work at least 35 hours a week and have been working as low as 20 hours a week. They have never required employees to take a TB test, which is required by **************** law when working directly with clients. They have cancelled employee's sessions without explanation. When asking for communication, the owner will say that it was for the best of the client. The owner had a 2-hour scheduled meeting where it was not about updates about the company but a list of her achievements with the company and the different roles of the company. The drive time to this meeting or to the office for work-related is not compensated. There is no communication when putting in time off requests if they are accepted or denied. Any issues brought up to the owner, or her children are not responded for at least a few days. They change schedule an hour before a session. Updates of the usual scheduler is not announced to the team.
