On February 24, 2024, the living room inside my *********** property sustained severe black water damage when an upstairs bathroom sewage pipe broke and caused the downstairs living room ceiling to collapse. On February 26, 2024, Emergency Services Restoration **** aka (ESR) arrived at the home to provide urgent emergency services to mitigate further damages to the home from the black water. Before Emergency Services Restoration **** aka (ESR) began work on the home, they were informed that the damages to the home were being covered by an insurance claim. *** said that an insurance claim was okay with them and they readily began restoration services on the home. The problem came when ESR submitted their $20,508.07 estimated billing to the insurance company, ********************* State ************** contacted ESR and disputed their $20,508.07 estimated billing charges pointing out several discrepancy charges within their itemized estimated billing list. State ************** requested ESR to contact them to negotiate the itemized discrepancy charges. *** remained in disagreement and refused to adjust, correct, remove, discuss, and negotiate the discrepancy charges with ********************* Instead, on May 22, 2024, ESR contacted the elderly homeowner for the full $20,508.07 charges. ESR informed the elderly homeowner, *********************, that on June 1, 2024, ESR was placing a Lien on the 62nd Street family home which would destroy the homeowner's credit trustworthiness and cause financial hardship. The news from ESR of a Lien being placed on my home was extremely upsetting and detrimental to my health and emotional well-being. On May 29, 2024, I texted *************) ***************************** at ESR and asked him to phone me regarding State ************** payments. Unfortunately, ***************************** never responded to my text. On June 2, 2024, I sent an email **************** to ******************* at *** to no avail, and the problem remains unresolved.
