******** was contacted by an agency that was claiming to be Passport to Discovery about a week after my daughter finished her last class with Barbizon, they were stating that they wanted her to move on the next step as far as being put on the stage in front of talent scouts to get her jobs and roles in acting and modeling. While on the call I did express to the woman that I had not even completed the last payment for Barbizon and that I was not ready to start paying for something else right away. She claimed to understand but proceeded to tell me that this was necessary to get her started working in the industry to start getting the money back that i had paid out. I asked her was this still Barbizon and she stated that they were not Barbizon, that they work with Barbizon graduates to get them to the next phase. I said OK because I do not wish to have my daughter participate in anything else Barbizon because they claimed that they would be pushing to get her jobs since she had completed their program. The woman who was kinda pushy then started to talk about how this was the way to guarantee that she would get the training to go in front of scouts in ******* at ************ this summer. So I did give her permission to charge my card for $100 at the end of November for the Passport to Discovery classes. Once the paynent came out it said it was in fact deducted under Barbizon name and I started to make phone calls in which I could not get an answer or any call backs and the one who was supposed to be the ambassador for my daughter's voicemail said that she was out and would not have access to her phone or vm and if you needed further assistance to call another number in which no one still got back to me despite the vm saying they will call you back in 24 hours, I called and called and called and no returned calls I even sent an email to the email that was provided on the main number. I did not get a response to that either. Then another payment comes out for $695

Its a scam! They willl take your money dont do it! They took $140 from me a few days ago and refusing to give it back! I had some health issues to come about and couldnt work for while and didnt care still took my money from my account and then ********************* sent me an online mail in c*** to cancel the contract and they keep saying it didnt go through in there end when it did! They are so full of sh@! I paid $9.49 and its on statement it went through when I responded through email after for some days and found out they are all the same people scamming me for more money! They are big liers! People they dont even honor certificates! Dont be duped like we all have! Get a lawyer!

Do not send you young adults or children to their acting and modeling school. I paid $2400 for my daugther to go to their school and it was worthless. We were promised a certificate and placement card for my daugther once she completed the training program. My daugther finish the training program in April 2023 and have yet to get her certificate or her placement card. This school is a total waste of my money. My daugther did not learned anything new or different that she didn't already know. They still call us on a regular requested more money for modeling training. Each time a worker call asking for more and I express by disappointment the company because they have yet to give my daughter her certificate and placement call. Each worker give a different for you to call and leave a voice and someone will get back to you. I called have at least ten times and left a voice mail since April regarding my daugther certificate and placement card. Still to this day no one has respond. BARBAZION IS A RIPE OFF AND A SCAM! STAY AWAY FROM THIS Thevenin scam of a ACTING AND MODELING SCHOOL.

Do not do business with this company. They tell you its a one time fee for the training which is ********, they constantly ask for money for everything to participate in they are selling the kids and parents a dream. If you put your card on file for payment arrangements they will run it constantly and not return the unauthorized funds stolen from your account!!!! SCAMMERS!!!!!

This company is a complete SCAM!!!! when you first pay for them to take classes, they tell your child received the thousand dollar scholarship, and not to tell the other students when you *************.GUESS WHAT??? Kids talk while attending these classes once a month and they all signed out that they received that scholarship or they were the top 15 !!! then when it comes audition time, they tell your child they made the top 15, and they're going to ******* to ****** to represent Barbizon! if your child me the top 15 to represent Barbizon, why are you paying $4,000 to attend??? show my child suppose we made the top 15, and was going to ******* , the very next day, I requested a refund because we were unable to go due to my health, and needing to get treatment to live. They REFUSE to give me back my money after calling the very next day after receiving my news. DO NOT TRUST THEM WHATSOEVER!!!! And still NO PLACEMENT CARD as PROMISED, and no jobs!! Want my MONEY BACK ASAP

Do not waste your time with these folks. They seemed to use the terms "single parents" during their orientation as a crowd pleaser, as if this modeling school was financially suitable for single parents to achieve. If you all cared about single parents and our children...please explain the difficulty in ending a so- called contract before it even begin. I went back and forth with this modeling school, regarding the termination letter which I sent as certified mail, thank God I did this, as it made it much easier for my bank to report as fraudulent. It was days later that *****, revealed your company had moved and had a new address. The address was no good you gave me SUZI, and UNable to be forwarded according to US postal *******s. This caused my certified termination letter to never make it to the 1st address which was provided by ****. I stated many times to **** during this ordeal that I did not and would not have the funds available (****** plus/month.) We used not one single ******* of ****************** to say, Barbizon attempted to charge my bank account nearly 3 or more times during all this. I really should have checked this website 1st before dealing with a company I had respect for due to the amount of years they have been in operation. Thanks ********* and SUZI for showing me how much you cared about my single family. Glad I got out of it!
