I purchased a Priority Admission Ticket $35 including tax total $37.46 on September 17, 2022 to attend the 9:30pm Chocolate Sundaes show Sunday, September 25, 2022 on day before my birthday. Unfortunately, the comedy show was over sold (SOLD OUT) and I was unable to use my Priority Admission Ticket that night, they are also unwilling to refund my amount paid to the credit card company. How is it possible to sell out a show and not admit entrance to customers who paid for their ticket, & not be willing to issue a refund? I'm confused as to why they aren't willing to credit/refund money back to my account. I'm a senior, disabled, Black female who took the time to get dressed, & drive to the venue from North Hollywood to Hollywood while the gasoline prices were almost $7 per gallon. I've purchased many tickets for comedy shows, concerts, and I've never experienced not being able to access a venue due to a late arrival of which I paid for admission. Showtime was 9:30pm, my arrival time was approximately 10:10pm & it was already sold out. I'm very unhappy regarding Laugh Factory unwilling to provide me with a refund/credit to my Citi MasterCard.Business response

Hello BBB,
Thank you for everything you do. This is in regards to case #*******. We have record of the consumer having purchased two individual tickets to two different nights (11/17/22 and 11/25/22). There is no further action we can do on our end as both purchases are marked as "chargeback" on our back end. To do our best to rectify the situation we have offered the individual 2 priority tickets ($35 value per ticket) and informed them of the pathway to redeem the tickets. The email sent is below.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can do. We can agree that the customers deserve what's best. Thank you for helping bring this to our attention.
