Initially I made my order for pick up and agreed upon the rate of $450. Having a family emergency I rescheduled the pick up while being charged $150, also receiving confirmation the morning of that a driver was on his way to my location just for them not to show. After that conversation on a Friday morning, I booked my flights and finalized my shipment just to not receive a phone call from *******, whom was the agent assisting me, until Monday afternoon. On *******'s call her informed me that the driver had cancelled the order and decided to offer me another transport for over $600 off the original agreed quote. Throughout this process ******* has been dismissive, disrespectful, condescending, and has been a consistent liar. I have been told I cannot receive my funds back for the changing of the date, even though we are past the initial reservation date. I have been threatened and thoroughly discussed through this situation. I cannot be transferred out contact management, ******* makes sure communication goes through him. He does not call, he does not always callback, he's highly arrogant on the phone. If this is the way this business chooses to conduct themselves they should not be able to conduct business, because they are thieves in my book.Business response

Be aware of this business. I was quoted on 12/21 at a rate of $950 for a pick-up on 12/27. I received a call on 12/23 that the driver declined the pick-up and they were looking for someone else. It wasnt until after the new year they confirmed they could find a driver and now the price jumped up to $1,500 due to availability and gas prices. What made this situation odd was that with the first confirmation in December they didnt immediately charge me the $250 down payment fee. However, when I agreed to the increased rate (because I needed my car shipped to **********) they sent me the agreement form and charged my card within hours. This seemed very much like a bait and switch scheme and I would not recommend using them if they increase the rate on you out of the blue. Additionally, in their agreement language there is no penalty on their part if they cancel other than blacklisting the shipping contractor, but if you cancel or change on them, you will be charged the $200 cancellation fee or a $150 change fee. The company they used for shipping will only accept cash or check on delivery as well. I do not believe I should have had to pay the additional $550 for this shipment based on my original agreement. ****, we are sorry that you had some issues. However, after thoroughly reviewing your case we found your review to contain misleading, untrue and incorrect information, and we have proof for this. Please note that the original quote was provided based on the then-available offers from carriers. We definitely apologize for the cancelation of the initial driver, however, it was out of our control and we could not prevent it since the carrier company is an independent third party contractor. Attempting to resolve this situation as soon as possible, your agent gave his absolute best to find you a suitable driver for the best price possible.
In your review you did not mention that you were the one to ask your agent to increase the price on the load board to get more offers from carriers - we have proof and we believe you know this. Besides, in your review you wrote that you card was charged within hours, which is also not true since only the amount of the first payment was just pre-authorized to ensure you have available funds (i.e. it was not charged as you stated in your review, but simply put on hold). In addition to this, you wrote that if you cancel on them, you will be charged the $250 deposit, which is also not true since we never charge any deposits and/or booking fees - once again we do have proof of this. Moreover, as per the contract in case of cancellation by the carrier company we do have five (5) days to find a new carrier, and if a new one is not found, then no cancellation fee will be charged. Regarding the payment methods accepted by the carrier company, we understand that cash or check may be inconvenient for some customers. However, this is a standard industry practice implemented by carriers, of whom we have no control since they are independent contractors.
