Calfund is untrustworthy and sneaky. They mix numbers on loan documents and deceive customers. When calling to get answers I am met with residence and get ignored.Review from Nerissa K

I totaled my semi on February 29,2024. This company fail to give me information regarding my payoff balance which I feel the information they sent over to my insurance company isnt accurate.The lady name ***** told me I should not care about the balance she sent over to the insurance because ITS NOT MY MONEY. What a Joke! Since I wasnt given the information I requested I had to hire a lawyer. I will never use this company again, and I will let others know not to use this company as well. To me I feel they are getting over on individual thats only trying to be business owners and provide for their families.Review from Shaniquea F

If I could give this company 0 stars I would. This company is poorly ran. The representatives/managers are rude and they will end a call on you. I was told that ****** was is the manager. Ive spoken with her and she has terrible customer service. ******* is a representative, she has been helpful to me throughout this time. Do not Finance through this company. They are taking money from my account when they are not authorized to do so. They have placed me and my family In a bind multiple times. Again!!!! Do not finance here. The BBB/ social media platforms will know of this matter as well!! I understand that when youre desperate for someone to finance you , you take the first available company but please please do not harm yourself by financing w this company. Id be surprised if the company responded to this review . That *** be their only chance to respond professionally. You will not see *************** (my ****** profile for reviews) in your system but this message is on behalf of a company that I am part owner of. This company is horrible! If I could rate it as a negative 5, I would. First and foremost, you can never reach anyone. My husband has been in contact with *** in the title department, there was a mishap in communication when he was originally supposed to receive his title in June. He was told at the end of July it was shipped back to **** and that it would take approximately 3 weeks to receive it back from ******** which she would provide him an emailed copy of his title, so that he can get his license plates. It has now been almost 3 months, and still no word of where his title is. I honestly did not believe my husband was calling consecutively, so I took it upon myself to call today. I called ***'s direct extension, no answer. Called the title extension again to attempt to tell one of the representatives about what the issue was, she immediately transferred me to ***, although I told her not to. Called back and spoke to another representative, she immediately transferred me again, although I asked not to be transferred. Then I followed up with another call to customer service, spoke with another young lady who was slightly helpful, but it seems as if there is a race to transfer you/ slash get you off the phone. This is a janky company and I warn anyone whom reads this to stay away. I really wish I was more hands on when my husband got his truck, because he definitely would not have went through Calfund. I left a nice voicemail message highlighting all of the phone call attempts and messages, lets see how long it will take for them to follow up.Review from Stephen N

I purchased a truck with Calfund in January , Ive switched bank account information filed the proper paperwork since January still in September they havent draw the funds from the correct account Ive spoken with numerous customer service agents such as Alondra, *********, Etc even left messages with Management ********************* , Poor quality of Everything In ********************* Ever Please Stay Away ..Review from Jumelle lopez B

Calfund LLC financed a truck for me in June 2023. Until the prsent day ( 8/3/23 ) the company doesn't know how to process the paperwork in order for me to obtain a proportionned license plate and a Registration for the truck in *************. In the meantime Calfund already set up my first payment for September first, when I asked them for an extension of my first payment, they told me they have to charged me $ 800 as fees ( punishment for dealing with them), while they are the one who is not processing the Title, the paperwork in the right direction. My business and insurance papers are already all set but Calfund mishandling the paperwork hold me back while my insurance agent just told me he found more discrepancies ( name's mismatching which going to take more time to fix ). Calfund not helping out, doesn't care about customer's needs, but ready to charge for service like everything done and all set.Review from Yolanda G

The customer service is reprehensible. My thoughts exactly!! Like who is managing these people? I was just spoke to very rudely by customer service when I attempted to make sure my bill was paid. Unbelievable. Now there was a lady that came on the phone, the third time after I was basically hung up on, to smooth things over. But I see refinancing in my future.Review from Prof. Victor S

"Your call is now first in line and will be answered by the next available representative. While in queue you can press star at any time at any time to leave a message or enter a known extension to transfer the call. Thank you for your patience." No, they rarely answer their phones and their "customer service" is reprehensible. And if you *DO* somehow manage to get ahold of them, you'll be buried under a barrage of "unfortunately-we-can'ts." It's almost as if these wonderful people WANT to put you in default.Calfund, LLC Response

Unfortunately, our Call Center is experiencing a slower call flow due to our shortage in staff. It seems that he also requested an interest statement that we may or may not be able to provide him. I explained to him that this isn't part of our typical forms of requests although I informed him that I would reach out to our Accounting Department to see if they would be able to accommodate him with the following forms. I am still awaiting an answer for this.Review from Derek H

The worst financial company I have ever worked with I was told after I paid off my loan it would take two weeks to receive the title. After I paid it off I could never talk to Veronica again she was the only contact I could talk to before the truck was paid off but after I paid it off she was never available. They would tell me I missed a payment that I already paid but text saying the truck would be repo causing more stress. Waiting on my title now they just hang up on me or tell me to hold . I would not recommend this company to any small business or startups there professionally not where you need them to be for your success!! Yes I wrote this while on hold so furthermore the rates are to high .I wish I could speak with a supervisor or so one in charge helpppp .Calfund, LLC Response

I spoke to Mr. ******* today in regards to the "title delay". I explained that the title process can sometimes be lengthy due to the final preparations. He seemed please that he had already received his title. He also mentioned that he was not able to reach Veronica and I explained that Veronica is from our Collection's Department and he was getting assistance from our Customer Service Department. It seemed to be a misunderstanding. Overall, Mr. ******* seemed pleased and was happy that the title was now in his possession.Review from Stephanie R

this is less than a 1-star company for the worst customer service I have experienced in my life if the manager can put the phone where I can call what A.P initials and Na**basically running over my rights not only as a consumer but as a person and none get a supervisor on the phone its like they are one ...... never use this company do your research before you finance and as well look them up we did not and we are paying the price....HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!Calfund, LLC Response
