The above business was subcontracted by West Coast Home Buyers LLC, ****************************** to complete the **** portion of a room addition project in late July 2021. The entire project was completed on 10/29/21. Shortly on Nov. 2021, the heater was turned on for the first time after completion, extremely loud, rumbling and vibrating noises began to follow from the furnace in the attic. This noise was too unbearable to continue running. Several complaints were made to west coast to have CDY-**** *** (***********************) return to fix the problem. After several contacts, ****** installed rubber pads underneath the unit to minimize the vibrations. Throughout 2022 & part of 2023, ****** would send his workers who were incompetent. Out of frustration, *** hired a few independent contractors, who advised me that the current job was not in compliance nor properly coded for safety. 2/9/22, a new tech was called due to the same ****************** issues. The tech noted several items w/immediate attention. A fuse was replaced, but that was all due to liability. West coast was notified to have ****** fix all the noted problems, he sent his worker. Dec. 2/8/22, I hired another tech due to the same noise, he discovered a lose s**** inside the motor. Attempts were made to ****** by west coast ***** where ****** dropped off a new motor & on 12/10/22, it was replaced by ****. Oct/Nov 2023, the heater stopped working, **** returned & replaced with another motor. Feb. 20, 2024, the heater broke again & on 2/23/24, I hired NexGen hvac who completed the work that due the negligence of ****** should have been done. The entire system was replaced. ****** installed a larger unit & connected it to the old parts and wires that belonged to the previous smaller one. This cost me $37,498. I am seeking Reimbursement for the entire amount I paid, I have photos and details that can be submitted upon request. I respectfully request the BBB assist me in resolving and obtaining compensation (see below).
