We booked their venue for our Son's Lohri. As per Process , we have given advance ( $3000, refundable ), then covid wave hit and due to which we had to cancel the event quite in advance and end up hosting at our home.It has been 1 year 4 months, did not get our advance refunded. how many times we called and sent email. They will knowledge it needs to refunded, but never does anything.Because I don't see any action from them that's the reason I am filing a complaint now, Because I don't trust their words at all now.Business response

Hello,
Its is clearly stated in our agreement that the deposit is non-refundable as when we accept the deposit the Venue is reserved for the client and is locked out to anyone else. This is communicated to the client at the booking time and is also clearly stated in our agreement. Attached is the language from our agreement regarding the deposit. As a courtesy, we contacted the client and offered them to have any event at the Venue at a new date and we would be happy to apply the deposit to that event. The customer has refused our generous offer.
