I discovered 5 charges on my credit card to emmpor.fans. The charges were as follows:2/5/2024 - $1.95 2/10/2024 - $49.95 2/19/2024 - $4.95 3/11/2024 - $49.95 3/20/2024 - $4.95 I never signed up for this service and I never purchased anything from this company. When I went to their website, their contact info lists their address as Sofi Mania, 6135 **************************************************The 3/20/2024 charge triggered a fraud alert from Citibank and my card was canceled. I have disputed the remaining charges. I don't know what service this company claims to provide, but I did not purchase anything from them.Business response

11/20/23 I was charged by this company .I've never purchased anything from them. I've never heard of them or know what service they provide. I'm on a fixed income and I can't afford for company's I've never heard of to be charging me for anything.Business response

Here is my email to the company, with no response: Hello, You have been deducting money from my account since December 21st. I don't know what this is for. I am not aware of any business with you. I need explanation. This is fraudulent an II need to be reimbursed $404.10. I talked with ***** who was with a third party billing company on the phone just a few minutes ago. I was told there is no way they can know how I signed up for this, but perhaps I clicked on something inadvertently to sign up. She was rude; talked over me with voice escalating, refused to let me talk to anyone above her. This is shameful customer service. She said her boss will only tell me the same thing she was telling me. Then let the boss tell me. I have been in Administration long enough to know that I can do things that those in lower positions cannot. She canceled my subscription, supposedly. She also said that I can only be reimbursed for three months. Bad on me that I didn't check my account carefully over the months. I am regretful of that. It was also unclear what service I was subscribed to per *****. I have never had a person refuse to give me a supervisor's name. I have never had someone so willing to cancel my subscription and block me from my account being charged again so quickly on a call, which was exactly how my phone call began. I asked more questions and did not get answers. I would like proof that my subscription was canceled in writing. This is incredibly sketchy. Again, I did NOT sign up for this and expect reimbursement timely. The reimbursement for three months of $134.70 does not cover this scam. I will expect to receive an email response and a $404.10 reimbursement to my account. I await your response and rectification of this situation.Business response

Consumer Response /* (2000, 5, 2022/10/21) */ Thank you for your email. I just want to note that they have now reimbursed me for the entire year. I must have caused them enough grief. They didn't tell me, the money was in my checking account.
