The transaction occurred 2/27/2023, we picked the car up on 4/12/2023. We took the car in on 2/27 due to a coolant leak and the car overheating and smoking. Range rover told us they did the following service:LEAKING COOLANT OUTLET PIPES. CHECKED STORED CODES, P0116-00, P0126-00 ECT TEMP RANGE & INSUFFICIENT COOLANT STORED. PRESSURE TESTED COOLING SYSTEM, COOLANT OUTLET PIPES ARE SPLIT AT THE ****** REMOVED SUPER CHARGER ASSEMBLY, VERIFIED KNOCK SENSOR HARNESS IS OK NO SIGNS OF DAMAGE. NOTED COOLANT OUTLET PIPE SHOWS SIGNS OF OVERHEATING. REPLACED COOLANT OUTLET PIPES WITH UPDATED STYLE. REPLACED THERMOSTAT ASSEMBLY AND UPPER BREATHER PIPES FROM RADIATOR TO COOLANT RESERVOIR. CLEANED ALL COOLANT FROM ENGINE BLOCK UNDER SUPER CHARGER. VACUUM FILLED COOLING SYSTEM AND PRESSURE TESTED AFTER REPAIRS AT 15 PSI FOR 10 MINUTES, COOLING SYSTEM IS HOLDING PRESSURE WITH NO SIGNS OF LEAKS. CLEARED ALL STORED CODES. PRESSURE WASHED ENGINE BAY AND UNDER TRAYS. TEST DROVE VEHICLE, PERFORMED COMBUSTION CHAMBER ************* TEST AFTER REPAIRS WITH ENGINE AT OPERATING TEMPERATURE AND NO HC'S DETECTED IN COOLING SYSTEM, TEST PASSED. VERIFIED COOLANT LEVEL IS OK AT THIS TIME AND ENGINE IS OPERATING AS DESIGNED WITH NO WARNINGS DISPLAYED. We paid $4000 for this service. After picking up the car on 4/12, the car started smoking again and overheating in the same day. We contacted Land Rover and they told us it was okay to drive the car over. They checked the car and told us that the head gasket had blown. They blamed us and said we should not have driven the car even though they test drove it and told us it was okay to bring it back. Now they are asking us for $19,000 to repair the car even though we have the extended warranty for the car and they were the ones they told us it was okay to drive the car.We would like the help of the Better Business Bureau to resolve this issue by having the Land Rover company fix the car. This issue was caused by carelessness from Land Rover.Initial Complaint

Purchased a car in March 2022, 2019 Land Rover Discovery Sport, at different dealer. Engine broke down in October 2022, had car towed to Land Rover in Mission Viejo. 5 weeks later still doesnt fixed car, no end in sight. Have to wait on getting car engine to come in, wait on parts that are ordered to come in. In the mean time no car rental or loner provided. I have to be the one dealing with guarantee for any car rental. Talked to General Manager in hopes of resolving something. I believe they have the parts now but I have to wait till they start to work because they are too busy. Total lack of professionalism from dealer. Expecting great service from Land Rover, severely disappointed.
