On January 21, 2022 i went to see the doctor on this location for a physical exam. I have a ********** insurance provider and used for the doctor. After seeing the doctor I was told i needed to set an appointment to get my results either in person or over the phone so i chose over the phone for February 25 2022. When the day came i got the call for the clinic and i was told i needed to pay for the doctor visit because talking to the doctor to get my results over the phone would be considered a doctor visit. I told them it was a physical and I most places i would go online to get results and then i was told i could have done that and was given directions on how to do it instead of waiting over a month to get my results so I refused to speak to the doctor and decided to go online and see the results instead. Now i got 2 bills, one for the lab and another one for the doctor. I contacted my insurance and they said the clinic coded the exams in a way that was not fully covered by them. I contacted the clinic twice and they said they will look into it and nothing has been done so far. This is the first time seeing this doctor and i have never received bills for getting a physical with any other doctors. Plus they failed to tell me a had a choice to get my results sooner. I feel they did it on purpose so that they could charge for a doctor visit and in the end i got charged anyways.Business response

Hello,
I want to start by letting you know that this is the first time we've received a BBB grievance on ****************. This grievance was dated on Saturday 03/25/2023 and received via-mail on Thursday 03/30/23.
**************** came to our office for the first time on 01/21/2023 for a physical exam. Our provider completed the exam and order some routine laboratory tests on **************** our providers usually ask our patients to come in for a follow up and review of lab results. The patient is also instructed by the provider that they will receive a call from us if there's any abnormal results, or they can also call our office. I've messaged and waiting for a reply from our billing manager asking why **************** is receiving a bill for $42.15. We had no idea **************** had received a bill from ***************** We would have definitely taken care of the lab bill l if this was had been given to us by or a call made by ***************** Please be assure that we will follow up on the attached bills and get back to **************** with an answer soon.
We are sorry to hear the **************** was unsatisfied with our service unfortunately, this problem was a lack of communication on both sides. We always strive to give the best medical care to our patient's and look forward to helping them in any possible way. I am rejecting this response because:I have made several attempts to contact the clinic and when i call they tell me they are going to look into it but nothing has been done. In the meantime i am getting billed from the clinic and the lab. I would like to see results and not tell me that they would look into it over and over. Thank you.
