********** My car was towed to Russ's Transmission from Pep Boys last week. I am being overcharged for the work and have arranged my car to be towed to another shop. I owe Russ's Transmission *** for towing my car from Pep Boys. I called to pay them over the phone and they want me to pay in person. I offered to pay over the phone with my debit card, I offered to pay through Zelle or Venmo, or for them to send me the bill in the mail. They want me to go pay in person, but I am unable to do so because I do not have a car. They have my car. Also, because I am at work, They are refusing to release my car to the other shop because I can't pay in person. This is unacceptable, when we live in the 21st Century and there are millions of ways to pay electronically. They are being completely unprofessional and unreasonable. I want my car to be released by them immediately and I want the fee waved for being rude and unreasonable.
