I purchased a Humvee (AM General m1151A1) from a government run auction called Govplanet.com.Goveplanet.com has a referral program to a company called veritread LLC. The function of ********* is to find a transportation company to transport the Humvee from their location to a location chosen by the customers.I signed up for this referral program and choose Car Carrier Group **** as the transportation company to transport my newly purchased Humvee to my mechanic's work place. I received a call from Car Carrier Group, Inc. driver ****** asking questions about the roads and how to transport the Humvee to my mechanic's shop. I advised ****** the driver to contact ************ to arrange for the time of the delivery. AS it turns out, ****** did not call my mechanic **** C and Car Carrier Group, Inc. loaded 4 trucks on his trailer. ****** called me after his trailer was loaded that he could not make the delivery. I asked him why? He said his trailer is 40 foot long and cannot make it to my mechanics work place. ****** and his bosses wanted to drop the Humvee in the middle of of Box Canyon road and leave. ****** told me it is not his problem and it is now my problem to pick another location for the deliver. I gave ****** my home address and he still refused to deliver the Humvee to my home address either claiming his 40 foot trailer could not make it to my house. ******, his dispatcher and the company, Car Carrier Group, inc. told me there is nothing they can do and if I do not provide another location for them to drop off the truck, they will take the truck to a tow yard and that would be my responsibility to take it out and arrange for yet another delivery and pay for storage fees. I advised all parties, it was not my mistake, the driver should have called the mechanic on time before Car Carrier Group, Inc. loaded his trailer with 3 other trucks, Humvee was delivered to a local church and I had to re tow the truck to my mechanic's shop.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:Car Carrier Group, *** statements are all misleading and untruthful. They purposely missing the point. So lets stay focused on the problem:
I hired Car Carrier Group, Inc. to pick up my truck and deliver it my mechanic's shop. They failed & did not deliver the truck to my mechanic. That is the core of my complaint.
Car Carrier Group, Inc. had a contract to pick up from a specific location and deliver to another specific location. A very simple process. I paid in full and in advance for the delivery of my truck. When they picked up the truck from the location, when in route, they refused to deliver the truck to my mechanic's address. A predetermined address they had on file and accepted before accepting my money. it is that simple. They violated the terms of their agreement. Their driver ***** asked for more money to deliver the truck to my mechanic's shop; twice as much (an illegal act that has been reported to DOT). I refused to pay their ******. They took my truck hostage.
I offered to have them deliver the truck to an alternative address ( my house ) they refused to deliver the truck to my home address either. Keep in mind, they delivered an identical truck to my house a month prior to this incident. Same company, same truck & the same location.
Since they took my truck hostage. They would not deliver the truck unless I paid them additional fees 100% more than we had agreed upon or give them an alternative address to drop the truck. I refused.
They threatened to dump the truck on any street of their choosing 2-3 to the destination point. I refused to accept this offer.
They threatened to drop it off at a tow yard. Since I bought this truck from a Government auction, it did not have a license plate, no registrations, no tag. They knew if they dropped the truck at a tow yard, I would not be able to take it out. Not to mention the hefty fee I had to pay for storage and other expenses.
All calls to their customer service, their ********** ******* text massages were deliberately ignored. They wanted more money or they would drop it off at the tow yard, which meant I would lose the truck to a mechanic' liens due to my inability to show valid registration and paperwork.
Car Carrier Group, Inc. is fraud. This is a typical Bait and Switch scheme.
They were hired to pick up my truck and deliver to my mechanic's shop. They did not perform and did not complete the transaction. Not to mention the 4 hours of hostile treatment and threats by their driver ***** and their dispatch during this whole ordeal.
In conclusion, I do not accept their lame irrelevant response.
Sincerely,
