We are asking for a refund for the rest of the week of camp for our son and daughter from your Encino location for the amount of $704 (pro-rated from $880.00). At checkout / pickup today, my husband observed the counselor for our son's group yelling at the kids in his group in a scolding manner. Our son also told us that the same instructor had yelled in the same manner at the kids in his group multiple times today. Unfortunately, the environment provided at Galileo Camp is not something we would like our children to experience further and we would like a refund for this week. We are seeking a refund amount is $704.00 for the remaining four days of this week.Initial Complaint

Galileo Learning was engaged in a class action lawsuit that concluded in 2020. They are supposed to pay out a repayment for services not-rendered to each person who chose they want a rebate. They stopped sending ANY payments in early 2022 and are not responding to any emails at all about this matter. They have defaulted on their agreement.Initial Complaint

Galileo has not refunded me the $180 they owe me for canceling my extended care for my child. I have been waiting for over two weeks and no refund has been issued.Additionally, my son was hurt this week. The counselor or director never called us to tell us that the bracket of his braces came off and was poking him on the cheek. He had the wire poking out of his mouth for over 3 hours! When we picked him up, we had to rush him to the orthodontist to fix it right before the office closed. We demand a refund for the last two days of Galileo ($160) that we did not attend after the incident, in addition to the refund ($180) we are still waiting to receive. They are run so unprofessionally. We are not coming back next year.Last year, my son also go hurt with a huge lump on his head and we never received a call about it. We decided it was a one-off incident with a inattentive counselor, but it seems to be the lack of proper training for all the staff.Initial Complaint

Please see the attached documents with more details regarding this complaint.I enrolled my son *********************** (10 years old) in the Camp Galileo ************ and paid $1,925.00 for 6 weeks of summer camp as the website required. My son is with multiple disabilities and I disclosed all of his disabilities, behavior challenges, Rx and homeopathic meds, best approaches to manage his behavior online in the application form. Camp Director ***************** told me that we can bring DD back in the Camp Galileo on Tuesday, July 5 with an Aide. If we have an Aide for DD, we would have NEVER enrolled DD in Camp Galileo. Saddleback Unified School District potentially could provide an Aide for children with IEP, but only during the school year and Camp Galileo is NOT part of Saddleback Unified School District. They are a privately owned company. Please help us, we have a disabled son and $1,925.00 is a lot of money for us, which I would rather spend on DD's ABA therapy or/and other ways to ensure that he has a great summer break!Initial Complaint
