On 9/14/2024, I visited the ******* store with my father to purchase Shasta sodas that were on sale. When we went to check-out an issue occurred where the system did not update the sales price. The cashier, ***** called the Manager on Duty, over to assist. I explained to them that the sodas were on sale and showed them the weekly ad and Cardenas App that stated the cost was $2.99 each with a limit of 3. The manager tried to read the details of the app but ***** immediately became defensive and combative with me. ***** and the Manager said its only valid for one. I continued to try and explain and show them that the app says there is a limit of 3. ***** argued that that was incorrect. ***** did not try to even understand the details of the coupon. She kept stating their system only says one with an arrogant attitude. I tried to let ***** and the manager know that they must honor the price and limit that was clearly stated in the details of the coupon app. Then ***** and the Manager looked at the ad and assumed the price was valid for only 2 sodas even after I explained the coupon says 3. ***** was very unprofessional and rude. I had the coupon on my phone and tried to show them and they still did not believe me or even try to correct this.They completely ignored me and assumed what they were doing was correct when in fact it was not. I ended up having to pay more for the 2 sodas that should have been honored and I also illegally was taxed more due to this. Before they rang up the customer, they quickly became defensive and aggressive and told the customer that the ad for the soda only applies to 2 packs. However, once they rang up all 3 sodas and the coupon all the sales cost went through fine. I feel that I was targeted and discriminated against.They need to be held accountable and trained on how the systems work and what to do in a situation like this. I should also receive a refund for the extra cost and tax that I paid illegally due to their negligence.Initial Complaint

I purchased what was supposed to be a carnitas burrito at the ****** Cardenas location. It seemed my burrito was smaller than the ones I seen being prepared for the customers in front of me. I sat down in the food court and began to eat my burrito and noticed there was hardly any carnitas, mostly beans and rice. I told the ladies who made the burrito that I had ordered a carnitas burrito not a beans and rice burrito. The two ladies that worked there turned to each other and laughed and said nothing else. (how rude) I asked to speak with a manager and she kept me waiting an extended period before she came over. She spoke with the ladies and they admitted that they only put carnitas in the middle of the burrito and not throughout. She told them the proper way of making them was to spread the meat throughout the burrito. The manager was rude, never offered an apology, took out her phone and took a picture of what remained of the burrito and never asked if I would like my money back or even remake the burrito. I contacted corporate customer service two weeks ago and was told someone would call me but no one did.Initial Complaint

I bought a Horchata drink 2 bags of Amazonas 14 oz and one bottle of B&B 22.9 fl oz, The taste of boths products are terrible I try to return the products but the manager store refused to take them back, they said I should go after the manufacturer, to get refund for the products purchase on 11/26/2021 try to return 12/5/2021 around 11:40 AMBusiness response

This complaint was received in our office on December 6, 2021.
**** ***** has been contacted by Customer Service Representative ******* **** to further address this situation. Mr. ***** has been asked to submit his receipt for the purchase of items referenced in this letter to process his requested refund.
In addition, he was also offered a $25 Cardenas Market gift card which he graciously accepted.
