Terrible service very disrespectful Workers Im having problems with showing them that I have full coverage insurance and theyre still charging me 780 every few months when I have full coverage insurance, I try to get a hold of someone else higher than the manager, Im speaking to and all he does is hang up and says I have to go through him for everything so try again. Its not fair when I feel stuck with no one to contact for help when they know theyre in the wrong all they ever want to do is threaten me with is theyll just pick up my car when I always pay my car payments knowing thats the way I get to and from work its not fair and I really want to get a hold of someone higher than just this office in ****** !!Challenge Financial Services Inc Response

This company is by far the worst financial company EVER! Seems they only hire people who are RUDE, DONT WANT TO LISTEN, CUSS YOU OUT, THREATEN YOU and more to say the less. I was dealing with ****** in the legal department. Most unlikely customer service manager representative I have ever dealt with! My bank account was hacked had several chargebacks were done on my account including 2 from challenge. I was Working with the bank on resolving the issue, it had to go thru fraud department and investigation which took time and Challenge and ****** had no compassion to wait give me time to let bank figure it out and reverse the chargebacks! Continue to text me the vehicle would be repo, surrender the vehicle or we will come look for you! Talked very rude to me wouldnt even hear me out! Would even raise her voice! Then she didnt like that I spoke back to her how she was to me and then said shes blocking my account so I cant make any payments and processing my vehicle as stolen! Very rude customer service at this place dont know how there still in business! Taking peoples money and then adding all kinds of extra charges! So I paid $796 dollars to then have the bank reverse the chargebacks later! No compassion for something that was out of my control! I cant wait to get this loan out of this companys hands! Our response is that we have zero evidence to support these allegations. In fact, ****************** signed the purchase contract and all other documents normally signed during a sale in ** involving the financing of an automobile. We were provided with normal documentation for proof of identification (specifically, we have photocopies of ****************** CA Driver License. as well as proof of income (copy of his bank statements). These are documents that the dealership would not have been able to provide to us unless the complainant voluntarily gave them to the dealership, therefore CFS is confident that the sale was WITH ******************** consent. Additionally, we have compared the signatures on the contract to those on his CA Driver License and compared the signatures on the contract to those on his CA Driver License and find them NOT to be forged.Review from Kurt C

Would give a zero if I could. I made an arrangement dec of 22 to have the payment sent to the rear. Made a aggreed partial payment for ******* and now where in February and the car was repo. I'm more then ************************************************************************* December. The car only had 7k left to pay on it. Challenge refused to let me return the car the first day I got the car. It needed turbos. Engine and ***. Which I was stuck paying for. Challenge did not care. I put more then 10k in the car to keep on the road. All because I didn't want it to hit my credit. Now they took the car that has more value then what it was worth when I got it. ****** how that works. I bet I'll also be sued to pay the rest off. After reviewing our records, we have determined that Challenge Financial Services did not violate any internal policies and procedures, nor did it violate any regulations or laws regarding debt collection. On 05/06/2021; ****************** signed the purchase contract and all other documents normally signed during a sale in AZ involving the financing of an automobile. On 06/04/21; ****************** called in to complete his welcome call and spoke with an account representative, ****************** was asked if any issues with vehicle, ****************** indicated no issues with vehicle and understood vehicle was bought as is. On 12/10/21; ****************** called and indicated replaced the turbo(s) in the vehicle and was advised no extended warranty was purchased at time of sale. ****************** understood, made his payment and had no further questions. On 10/15/22: ****************** called in stating vehicle having mechanical issues but agreed to continue with the monthly terms. On 12/07/22; ****************** called in to let us know has no money and was not sure when will have, no arrangements made. On 01/11/23; Challenge Financial Services learned ****************** moved to ******** and failed to call in to update new contact information when ****************** made a partial payment thru our website on the same day. Challenge Financial made several attempts to reach out to ****************** for assistance which resulted in the repossession of the vehicle. We still would like to offer provide the best mutual solution to resolve this issue. I have financed many cars in my life and this financial service has to be the worst by far. They took over my contract on- feb,7th it's Feb 13th and the put a repo out on my car over a misunderstanding via the banks. Is been a absolute nightmare trying to talk and work things out with my case worker, ************, in customer service. She was very rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, demanding, unethical, and showed extreme mercilessness. She never explained to me that my account was now under a different lein holder. . She never intruduced herself to me. She called repeatedly and aggressively before i got writing verification that cfs was now incharge of my account. She never informed me of any delinquentcy. She just called and asked very frankly " is this--- ? are you ready to make a payment. Pay today or we will repo your car." I tried to explain my confustion via the banks.and she argued with me. Stating I wasn't on the phone with anyone from the cfs today. when I was. She refused to transfer me to her manager. I had to call the main number and I cleared everything up via her manager. Worst experience ever! They illegally financed my vehicle for more than it was worth according to carfax. The carfax value showed $300 however the loan that i was given by challenge financial was for $8000. I made the first month's payment for $300 and never received a formal contract from the company nor the title showing that I paid off the worth of the car. The car didn't even work and sat in the parking stall, but I was threatened with repossession of the vehicle that needed over $6000 worth of work. The failed to show up to reposes the car. I was not even allowed to trade the vehicle or have the loan used for another vehicle. I conceded the contract and have yet to receive a refund for my downpayment and monthly payment.Challenge Financial Services Inc Response

I purchased a 2011 Infinity which Challenge Financial financed for me. My car was impounded police and was released. I am a truck driver that goes all *****************, so my son drives it. Less than a week later it got impounded a second time. I spoke with Art and I told him I would not be back to ********** until Tuesday this was on a prior Wednesday. I call him Monday and he tells me recovery does work the weekends. Let me look into it. He never calls me back. The first time it got impounded he threatened to repo it if I didn't get out quickly. He told the would be charged. So now my car has been there for 7 days. Art said it would save me money because they can get. On Friday October 21, 2022, I personally called our customer, *****************************, to listen to her and discuss her BBB negative review. I let her know I reviewed all of the account notes so am aware of the situation. I informed her that her account is not in payment default so not a repo and I will double check to ensure that her credit reporting does not show as such. As far as why it took from October 12th when we received notice of her vehicle being impounded again, until October 19th when the vehicle was secured was because we use 3rd party licensed recovery agents and cannot control their work flow. I gave a recap of the situation and an up-to-the-minute update. Specifically, that our recovery agent did secure the vehicle from the impound yard on October 19th and the nearest auction was notified the next day to pick up the vehicle from the agent. Adesa Auction in ***** did so earlier today and I confirmed the vehicle is now at their facility. ************** was given Adesas address & ph# to make an appointment for her to pick up the vehicle, and was informed of the required Authorization for Release and fees needing to be paid directly to Adesa. Horrible customer service! We take all of our customers concerns very seriously and we strive to improve our customers experience with our company. We regret that **************** felt demeaned and not listened to. We emphasize with our employees the importance of listening to our customer regarding the issue(s) that are contributing to their delinquency. Our efforts toward communicating with **************** on the phone in the past have not typically been met with success, so we are glad to see that on 3/4/22, a pre-set payment in the amount of $541.92 was arranged to take place on 3/17/22. This $541.92 will pay the delinquent amount due for February, all accrued late charges, and the upcoming 3/20/22 regular payment of $339.35, bringing the account fully up-to-date.In the future, if **************** experiences a situation that makes it unlikely for a payment to be made by her due date, she may contact her Representative, ********* at *********************** to inquire whether alternative arrangements may be possible.
