Purchased a Calspa tub for $16,000 2-3 years ago and the salt system has been a complete disaster. The circuit board that powers the salt cell has failed 4 times now. The company was nice enough to provide us with 2 replacements free of cost. However, the unit continues to fail after a period of 4 months. Not only has the circuit board failed, but the heater failed due to corrosion from salt. My most recent communication with the company was extremely negative and rude. ****** refuses to stand behind their defective products that are sold for top dollar. Stay away from salt tubs and ******.

I purchased a CalSpa tub last year. Only 2 months into ownership the lid malfunctioned and started pooling and holding water. ****** has refused to replace it and won't respond to communications. I do not recommend their products and would recommend going with any other company if you are purchasing a tub. The service and product are of low quality and they should be ashamed of how they treat their customers.Cal Spas Response

Pathetic. I bought hot tub and sauna from them. And within a couple of weeks(before delivery) found out that another dealer(Manteca) was giving me $4000 less on the same hot tub that I purchased. Please check out other dealers before going to this location. Victoria accepted that her prices are high and charged me extra to cancel the order(which I finally did). I don't mind paying extra to get rid of them. This is the kind of place you would avoid going and the kind of salesperson you would avoid seeing. Save yourself a fortune and try any other dealer. No matter what deals they give you they are still looting you. Don't trust me blindly, Compare with any other dealer, and find out the truth.Cal Spas Response

I am sorry you are not ***** with your purchase. Please note that all Dealerships are individually owned and operated and price structures are subject to the specific dealership. We have been in contact with your Dealer. Your Dealer did offer a discount to keep you as a customer and is also willing to offer a partial refund for your purchase. Their sales contract is very specific as noted on Page 2 "Deposit & Cancellation Charges" under section XV as to what the refund will entail. Again, we apologize you are unhappy.Review from Gabe C

Many things went wrong. From the first one being I was told the delivery date would be September 28, 2021 and did not get it until February 2022. The first time I used it it broke. I had to wait for a repair man and spare parts. The second time I used it, it broke again. This sequence kept going on. I would use it, it would stop working, repairman would come out (they know me on a first name basis now) I would wait for parts, they come fix it, I use it, it breaks. My struggle with the place I bought it from has been big. I was lied to. When asked if I could return it for obvious reasons they said "well its like buying a new car, you have to go through the warranty when it breaks"..... So I pretty much spent $17,000 for something that will break every time I use it. Currently I am waiting for a repairman for wednesday. It broke Friday... I will continue to treat the water and will have to wait a week or more after the repair guy tells me he needs a part they dont have. I Don't mind getting a defective unit, what I do mind is the constant negligence from Cal spa and the place I bought it from. They are not helping me get what I paid for. The service technician has been in contact with our technician and we are confident your spa will be up and running. The service technician has also advised that they will be making a stop by in the morning as well to ensure the spa is operating as it should.
