My bond was approved on 06Apr23 by Surety1 at the rate of $365 for a year . I paid on 07Apr23 the full amount and was waiting for the original bond paperwork to submit to the court. The underwriting team took longer to actually approved the bond although my lawyer had kept reminding them my court deadline. I finally received the bond paperwork after the deadline therefore I sent the original back to them. And they did receive it. ************************* said on email 13Apr23 that they can refund $365 if the bond was placed else whereOn 08Jun23, I emailed her the court s receipt indicating my bond from other parties.On 09Jun23 ***** emailed me Thank you. And then she has stopped communicating with me although I sent a few emails asking my refund.I did try to call the company but no one picked up the phone. I just need my money back.Initial Complaint

We purchased a surety bond from Surety 1 in January ******************************************************************************** early January 2022, we received a note from the VA that we needed to be exonerated from that requirement. We forwarded this information/email to Surety 1. *************************** replied via email on Feb 10, 2022 that she would forward the request to the underwriters. We have not heard from Surety 1 since. But we have heard from the VA stating they were going to relace me with another fiduciary if I could not get Surety 1 to exonerate me from the bond.Business response

We first talked to **************** on 2/10/2022. She provided an email asking Elizine ****** be exonerated from the bond. We contacted the surety company the same day requesting that **************** off of the bond immediately. We followed up with the surety company multiple times. Once she was removed we talked to the VA on 3/14/2022 and ********************* provided his email as ******************* On 3/14/2022 *************************** sent an email to the ************** at the VA as discussed, showing the bond had been canceled and she was no longer on the bond. Neither ************** nor **************** have reached out since and we've been under the impression this matter had been settled and closed. I will reach out to **************** again today.
