I bought frozen Oaxaca cheese from KP market on 9/6/2024. When I got home and opened the cheese for use, it smelled bad and tasted bitter. I immediately called the store and described the situation. The person on the phone told me to bring it back with the receipt in three days for a refund. I returned to the store on 9/8/2024 to process the refund with the foul smelling cheese. The customer service agent invited the floor manager to come and investigate the cheese. Upon removing his and smelling the cheese, he proceeds to tell me that the foul smell is normal for a milk cheese when that is absolutely not true. When i insisted on a return, he smirked and said you just want your money back insinuating that my concern regarding the cheese was not valid and I was just trying to cheat them by returning a perfectly good product. I requested to get his name and it was denied. I was told that the store manager is *** and there is no business card. I want to report the market to the health department because they improperly storing cheese products and then expecting the customers to continue to consume the products.Business response
